For Christmas my dear parents got for me a $100 gift certificate to Vision Forum! I was so excited! i told them that it was one of the best gifts ever and the most torturous! How could I possibly narrow my choice down- I want everything they sell! My whole family are huge fans of VF and so my parents got my brother and sister-in-law a gift certificate also. It wasn't long after that my brother called me so excited to find out what I had chose- you would have thought we were kids again excitedly talking about all that we had gotten for Christmas! Well he and Brandi had chose the movie Sergent York and several Lamplighter books. As for me I had not yet decided between getting lots of lower priced items or one more expensive item. Oh what to choose, what to choose! I finally went with the Mega History of the World Conference DVD set, and they are exceptional! I am learning so much and have already been able to apply so much of it to our lessons! Doug Phillips does an excellent talk comparing the Hebraic mindset (God centered) to the Greek mindset (man centered) and I immediately recognized that this was the same comparison done in my Principle Approach materials when the Christian ideas are contrasted with the Pagan ideas of this world. He expanded on the ideas so much and it helped make the two ideas so much clearer for me. Anyways, the rest that I have watched so far have been so very good also- I highly recommend them!
