Why is it that I am against many of the taxes our government imposes on us because I find them to be unBiblical yet when it is time to get our refund you won't hear a peep out of me for about a month about the evils of these wrong taxes? ( : Read here for a great teaching on the Bible and taxes (also read the reader's feedback as many give even more great insight into this issue).

We got a whopper of a return this year and I got to place a very large order from CBD!!! The final shipment (there were 4!) came today and I am so excited because in it was my much anticipated "Guide to American Christian Education for the Home and School" by James B. Rose! I can't wait to dig in! I will share the insights I get as I read through...

I actually have For Instruction in Righteousness myself, sitting on the shelf collecting dust! I'm going to get it down right away and look up the section on Blame Shifting! I've already had some issues this morning, and I'm ashamed to say that I did not handle them in a godly way. Yours was a very timely reminder!!!
I love doing my tax return too! I've been trying to get all of the receipts together so that I can get mine done too! I'm excited to get the refund!! I'm hoping it will fund our trip to the homeschool convention (and all the curriculum we buy there), maybe I'm a little too optimistic though.
I noticed that you use Principle Approach. I would love to introduce you to my friend (in real life even) honeybee who is big on PA and a great resource. Go check out her blog, you'll love her.

My husband is so on the ball that he gets ours done every year right away and we have our return usually by the end of January! I guess he is good for something right?! Just kidding ( :
