• Mar. 25, 2007 - Communistic Goals of 1963 - Have they been accomplished?
I urge every last one of you to read through this list found in the 1963 congressional records, verify it for yourselves and please come back and comment. Tell me how many of these are now a fact!
I have not gone through the whole list yet, I'm sure that I should before I post this because there will probably be another comment that I will want to make, but #17 with control of schools, is of course evident. We have a foreign exchange student from South Korea and they are the top countries in the world for giving their children a 'good' education, along with Japan and Singapore. He made an interesting comment to me as I was discussing his education and such. He said, "I like classes in America, we get together in groups here to figure problems out. In South Korea we had to do it on our own." This is very appealing to any child, because most are very lazy and used to the public schools turning an assignment into a group effort if they don't get it done on their own or complain it was to difficult. My husband and I are finding that it is not only in America, but there are striking similarities with teenagers from South Korea. I asked if they ever pray in school or have bible classes. He said no, not at his, but at private schools. Their system is a mimic to ours. Collectivism seems to be a global feeling and many seem to think it is the way to go and are unfortunately embracing it.
I have thought alot about this too Jen- group ownership for an individuals education will never work- the individual needs to take on the responsibity of what they learn for themselves- sadly we also see this in the area of discipline - one child causes trouble = nobody get privileges! Kids are being trained to think of themselves as part of a group- Communism!
