I have always loved April Fool's Day! I look forward to it every year. A couple of years ago I pulled off one of the best pranks of my career by making this and this for dinner - the kids were so excited when they saw the "cupcakes" and even more so when I said that for the first time ever they could have dessert first! The looks on their faces were priceless when they took a lick of that "frosting"!

This year the prank was on my hubby- we have been on a diet for the last few months together which includes of  a few hardboiled eggs each day. So I faithfully keep hardboiled eggs in the fridge to pack into his lunch every day. Of course April Fool's was no different, with the exception of replacing the normal hardboiled egg with a raw one!!! Oh clever me!! I just wish I could have been there to see his face when he went to crack the egg! I did however get a call around 11:30 asking who the culprit was that he needed to get even with!
