My Mother brought forth on this continent a new daughter, concieved in love, and dedicated to the proposition that all children should be brought up right.

Ahh there you have it - my pitiful attempt at humor on this fine 1st of July day! Yes - it is my birthday and now you all know my age (of course a quick look in my files would have told you also ) but what you don't know is that since I was born on July 1st of 1976 then I was 3 days short of being a bicentennial baby!

So this post is lovingly dedicated to my dear parents -  Thanks for giving me life, a happy and secure home, countless hugs and kisses, nurturing and encouraging words, but most of all thanks for raising me to know and love the almighty Father! I love you both so dearly!
