Mar. 1, 2007 - Great Fun at Homeschool Game Day
We had a lot of fun at Border's Books as we met up with a few other families for a twice-a-month game day. The kids bring chess, checkers and other games to play and the parents get a chance to catch up with each other for a little encouragement over a cup of coffee. I not only got a Borders card so I can build up points and get coupons but I even got to use by homeschooling letter of approval to get a 20% discount on the Hooked on Phonics Workbook, Titanic read-aloud book and a couple of other reading books for Chase. I am so blessed!
Many thanks to our friend Laurie Rogers (Alyssa calls her Mr. Rogers all the time!) for organizing these wonderful times together. |
