The kids had a blast playing in the snow this week. Despite their stuffy noses, they seem ready to play and have fun. I have been feeling a little more under the weather. Overall, life is good as we seem to have settled into a good routine of napping, homeschooling and toegether time. I still struggle with having enough time to do all of the housework and keep everything organized. I will keep trying and with God's help, I am sure that will improve as well. I have been doing much more homemade cooking and baking and that has been much fun and my family's response to this has been very encouraging.

I have been praying to God for some time now to help me to be a better wife and mother, the wife and mother He wants me to be after His own image and He is answering those prayers. Sometimes, I forget to thank Him for how far I have come because I focus so much on how far I still have to go.

Today, Lord, I thank you for creating a new heart in me and praise you for all You are and all that You do. Keep me close to you and leaning on you for all that I need so that you can make my path straight. In Jesus' Name I pray.
