Belinda has a great post that reminded me that all I do in my home is "homeschooling" or as she prefers to call it, home learning. I just talked to someone today and we discussed how many moms want to work outside of the home to role model a work ethic to their children. It is easy for me to forget the importance of teaching our children by example about the business of running a household, educating ourselves as adults and living for the Lord. I must remember that the household duties I perform reflect my character and are being held up to my children as such. This post gives me a greater appreciation of that often mundane and routine duties of everyday life. I can truly bless my children and help prepare them for life by doing them well.
