I held my Homeschool Prayer League prayer meeting in my home and I felt so refreshed afterwards. Alyssa fell asleep in my arms near the end so all worked out OK. Oh, how good God is and how blessed I am to be sent support for my urge to pray.

I was busy with my online PR course, straightening up and writing today so I felt I did not pay as much attention to the kids as I would have liked through much of the day. So, after dinner, despite the impending rain, I took the kids to the local pool. I did not feel like going and I could not find our pool pass but the Lord blessed my efforts. First, they had my pool pass on record. Secondly, I met a wonderful young lady there who babysits! Hallelujah, I have been praying about finding a babysitter/mother's helper for a rare evening out or to do activities with the kids if I have an article due on a deadline.

Thank God that His mercies are new every day.
