The Grocery Game!

Well, if today’s shopping is any indication of how we can save some money, then I’ve hit the jackpot.  I took Hannah with me and we went to 4 different stores……here’s what happened………

Walgreens – Shelf price -  $53.04.  OOP (out of pocket spending) $31.14.  Saved 41.3% and got back $15 off of my next purchase.

Target.  Shelf Price – $33.88.  OOP – 15.88.  Saved 54% and got a $5 gift card.  Of course, $4 of that total was Hannah buying candy for her and her sisters.  Awwwwww…….

CVS.  Shelf Price – 37.43.  OOP – 16.35.  Saved 56% and got back $3 off my next purchase.

Publix – Shelf Price – 159.07.  OOP – $112.13.  Saved 30%.  Not bad since most of my stuff was NOT on sale nor did I have a coupon for some things.

I now have enough bars of soap for Mary (we all like different stuff around here) to last at least a year.  I have tons of other stuff that I won’t need for quite a while, too.
