Feb. 26, 2006 My sister's birthday party
Yesterday Faith had her 6th birthday party. Everyone dressed in fancy dress because it was a tea party, and I was the waitress. Jana was the live musician, playing the violin. She told me to dance to one of the songs she played while I was serving the food. So I danced to a minuet while serving cookies. The girls giggled with delight.
When the guests first arrived, we began making bracelets. But we couldn't tie the string, so we decided to make necklaces. Before we could even try to tie the strings on the necklaces, it was time to eat. So no one finished a necklace.
After we ate, we decorated foam crosses with glitter and foamy stickers. I enjoyed being the waitress, serving tea, cookies and sandwiches. |
