Unit Study- The Honeybee and the Robber
After we read the book, I pulled down the Usborne Big Book of Playtime Activities and we followed the step-by-step instructions to draw some bears of our own.   While we were coloring, Elijah asked questions about what bears eat, so we talked about that (thankfully I know the answer to that one!).

read various ladders in My Blend and Word Book
Read Mat again; he also read Sam! (the second book)  He read both to Jason last night, too.

Completed the R page-- pg. 8

Read chapter 3-4 in The Littles Take a Trip
Called the weather man! (Elijah listened) to find out what the weather was going to be like.
Made a puppet (this was spontaneous fun in the afternoon).  Elijah wrote on the back of it "Elijah made you"  and on the front his name "Dla" 
Nature Walk -- we didn't do a journal entry, but we did find a Robin's feather and a Japanese Beetle
