That Musta Been Some Sugar Rush!

My youngest son celebrated his seventh birthday yesturday. This morning he told me, "I don't know if it was that cake or turning seven, but I feel different now."

I asked, "How do you mean?"

He answered, "Well, all my life it was like I was asleep in my bed with the lights out. But now it's like I finally woke up. I don't know if that makes any sense. "

Any of you have any idea what he's talking about?

From The Mouths of Babes: Remembering 9/11

Sept 13, 2001

The airplanes crashed into the cities and a couple of buildings collapsed. The airplanes fell into the city and a couple of people got burned. And lot of people got hurt really bad. The people went to the doctor in an ambulance. . .

. . . We did devotions. God told Adam and Eve not to eat from that tree in the middle of the garden. But they disobeyed God and ate from that tree. God came down and walked in the garden.

"Adam, what have you done?"

"That woman gave it to me and I ate."

They lived in a great big garden. She looked at the food. She said, "Look at this, it looks like something to eat."

And God said, "If you touch that tree you will not die. If you eat the fruit, you will surely die."

And the airplanes flew into the buildings. That is all I can say.

                                                                                      ~from the journal of a 4 year old boy~

Four airplanes crashedi nto buildings. The airplanes burned and the people on the airplanes were killed. The airplanes killed thousands of people. They (the terrorists) weren't doing what's in the Bible and God's cursing the people that did  it.                   ~from the journal of a 5 year old boy~

King Tuk Moth

What is a King Tuk moth? Well, according to my (almost) six year old, it is a moth with stripes on it. As in "Look, Mama! This King Tuk moth has stripes just like King Tuk had on his face."  Well, there you go. You learn something new every day.
