May. 16, 2008 -
Okiedokie, where to start....well, we went on vacation for 2 weeks! *Handy when you're homeschooled* First we went to Williamsburg Virgina, and then we went to Washington D.C.! it was so much fun! I think that my favorite part in D.C. Was when we went on the Metro. *Like a Subway/Train* It was so cool! It was my first time being on a train and/or Subway! It was so much fun! When we were pulling up to a station and it started to slow down, I would try to stay even with whatever was outside, so I would be running through the train looking out the window to see if I was in the same place or not. :oD It was really fun! And of course I didn't do it with many people in the car, only a few were in and usually they were facing the other direction, since they had seats looking South and North, depending on which way the train was going. If that makes any sense. Since it only would go in certain places, and when it reached the last place it's supposed to go, it would go backwards and do the places all over again. It would be doing that all day, that's how people would get from town to town. And it isn't very expensive! So we loved going on it. And for 3 days when we were in D.C. my Grandma and My Uncle Martin came down. It was fun! Except one day when we went out *Dad made us* it was pouring rain! And it was not only wet, but cold, AND Windy! Imagine all of those things together, except put 7 people there also. With 2 large umbrellas. And we walked probably over 20 blocks...So it wasn't very fun. But we got to see alot of things, since we had a personal tour of the Russell building. :oD It was really neat. Dispite the fact that my jeans were wet up to my knees. But they dried off. So we went to all of the places that we wanted to see, and I got to go and see the Declaration of Independance! It's so cool! Has anyone else been to D.C. before?

Apr. 3, 2008 - Hi
Well, it seems like it's been FOREVER since I've been on to blog, but I'm bored, so I'll just fill in what someone might want to hear, well, my brother and I are a year older now. :oD And my B-day is coming up soon...and with my birthday, comes the closeness of a book I've been waiting for since January is coming out!!! I can't wait! :oD it's part of a really long series. But My Little sister, Rebecca a while ago had her B-day, she's now 6. :oD She's growing up quickly. So how has everyone been? It's been raining alot over where we live, but I love the rain! (1) Because it brings with it the perfect sound *Except in lightning storms* to fall asleep with, or to curl up with a book and read on your bed... (2) Everything seems to either come alive with some nourishment, or be totally torn because of it, hopefully it's the first one. (3) IT WASHED AWAY THE POLLEN!!!
I've been having problems with allergies because of all the pollen that swishes around our area. If you have allergies, this is the last place that you would want to come to. :oD But after a nice rain, everything just comes alive. For grass sometimes you get some nice green grass after a nice rain, or a nice patch of weeds! :oD Right now in our front yard, we have more weeds than grass I think! :oD Well I better go now!

Dec. 28, 2007 - Moses
Hey guys, lately I've been reading about Moses. The story is AMAZING! Did you know that God almost killed Moses when he was in an inn? Because Moses Hadn't circumsized his son. But his wife took a knife and did it and layed the bit of skin on Moses' feet, and said....well I forgot but I'll get back to it. :o) And you know what? Did you know that In Moses' family line that someone married their father's Sister? Pretty strang huh? I think it would be weird to call your wife, your aunt too! Well, I better go! Tootles!

Dec. 20, 2007 - Um...Hello???
Hi, that is to whoever wants to take the time to read this, I know I haven't really been up-to-date with you guys! SO I'm sorry! But my little sister's Birthday is tomorrow! The 21st! And she's really excited! She's going to be turning 6! :o) Time sure does fly by doesn't it. Well, seeing how it's been 6 years since I've known her, my heart has once gone hard towards her, then soft. And now I'm experiencing something totally new to me this year! Every time I see her little face, or hear her voice, I'm just blessed that I'm able to say "That's my little sister!"
Because I know that we're one of the lucky ones, being able to support 5 people in a family, a good house, and a good education! It's something that we need to be thankful for!
Espically having parents, we need to look at our surroundings and think "How can I bless someone with what I have?" Because I want to give you guys a challenge, let's not let Christmas time be only time of giving, but ALL year! Because We weren't meant to have something and keep it hidden for ourselves till it's to late and realize, God gave me these things to use for others, not just me... You could take some of your unused clothes, and give them to people who don't have them, think about it, we're one of the luckiest country's!
We have freedom that can reach out to the smallest of God's wonders. This is the time where you have to treat others better than yourself! It should ALWAYS be the time when you think of others better than yourself! Even the people that might treat you like dirt...because if you were in their position wouldn't you want someone to come up to you and say "Hey, would you like to eat lunch together?" Or maybe, to invite them over some time, get to know someone this year!
And use God's gifts for others! We need to remember these things as we go through life, because, you never know, when you're up in heaven, some little girl might come up to you and say "Hi, you don't know me, but you helped me come to know Jesus, so thank you..." And others are always watching, so you might effect others by how you act, because wherever you go, you never know, there might be an admirer...:oD And I'll be praying for you all! Have a Good CHRISTmas!
Blessings,
Madison

Nov. 15, 2007 - So...what's up?
So...guys, what's up with you? Yesterday I had piano practice! And I finally have the rest of the song I'm working on. Because I'm just now able to read the chords and base thingy...it's really neat! Because one of my other friends who does piano also can't read it. And he's pretty good. So yeah, I get kinda upset when I see that he know's drums, and now he's learning piano. But I guess it's just another one of God's gifts for him...who knows, he might use it in a glorious way!
Well, today we went over to our friends house, Jake and Geordon (Pronounced Jordan). Jake's blog is Jdsfrog
So the reason why we went over there is because my brother and they play together in the Kids Church band. So it works out well when they can practice together. So yeah, Please leave a comment!!!
Thanks a bunch!!!

Oct. 23, 2007 - Miss me?
Tada!!! Never thought I would come back huh? I've been on here everyday to check my Mail but I don't think about blogging? Isn't that odd? Well here's what's happened lately:
1. My Mom and Ms. Cindy have made a teens blog about some of the things we do in our teen group that they just started. It's an awesome site and they've worked hard to get this far, here's the w-site: www.homeschoolblogger.com/teensontarget
2. Recently 2 of my Friends and my Brother have been except to play in the children's ministry at our church! I'm really proud of them.
3. My Dad has finished the body work on the bug that he's been working on for a long time (Car)
4. I've been praying about whether I should work up In the Children's Ministry the same week as my friends. That way I could have the time I need seeing how Austin's going to be there anyway.
So yeah, what's up with you guys? I hope you're family's have been fine! Mine has been doing just great. But I've been praying for the last couple of days whether I should turn in the form to volunteer at the Children's Ministry at our church (Called KPH *Kids power hour*). I haven't really gotten an answer yet but I think I could reach out to kids this way.
OMG! A thought just came to me! If God wanted me to work up in KPH he would give me a way. This I believe my friends, that this is a way. If you guys read this, could you please put me in your prayers for reassurance. Thank you! I love you guys! And now I will leave you with the Joke of the day:

Sep. 10, 2007 - What time is it?
Man has it been FOREVER since I've been on here! I mean the last time I posted was when it was the middle of summer and that was atleast 4 or 5 months ago it seems...So what has everyone been up too? My Birthday passed and now I get to do so many things. Like Dating, (Group dating that is...) sitting in the front seat, and some other things I think, not sure, my brain isn't really functioning today...
Well for other news; My brother, Jake (Jdsfrog), and his brother Geordon (Geordon12 I think...) are trying out for the teens band! I hope they all make it. Well, Austin (My Bro) Plays Bass, Geordon on Drums, and Jake on Electric Guitar! And me, well, I think I'm going to try out next year. That is if I know enough of what the teens do...But I hope they all make it!!! I can't wait for the tryouts.. I hope I'll be able to watch them play. Because I do whenever they practice over at their house and all. Well, everyone is sweating their socks off to get all of the music memorized to perfection to look the best. Oh yeah, and when they were signing up Austin saw someone who was going to try out with the Oboe. I don't know what it does but it sure does sound cool! Well, I guess I'll TTYL!

Jul. 25, 2007 - The rest of the story...
OK, if you want to know what happened before this then read below. Thanks:
OK, so here's the rest of the story... when we left my Grandma's we went to Myrtle Beach, but before we did we stopped by the house to drop Mom off since she said she wanted to stay out of that one. But she might come later that week. So we went, and we traveled for about 2-4 hours. We went into the camping grounds with high hearts about being back so soon. So we got all of the stuff out, settled in, and had a nice lunch of sanwitches. (For the 4th time!!!) Then after that we decided that it was time to go to bed. So that morning when we woke up Dad wanted us to go to the beach so it took us a little while to get the sun screen on...about 30 minutes or so. Then we had some trouble getting all of the beach stuff there since we were walking the whole time but thank goodness that the beach wasn't to far. But far enough to make me take the bikes next time...so when we got there we were met by a strong current and some nice waves. About 2 times the size of the ones that we usually get. So we had the boogie boards and we were trying to catch some waves. And when we (Austin and I) were trying to catch the same wave we woujld try and get ahead of the other person so that we could go farther. And we would always say who won by going the farthest. Sometimes the current was so strong that I met the beach a few times when I caught the wave! It was fun, but don't you hate it when you get sand EVERYWHERE!!!! Plus the stickyness of being in the ocean...I don't think I would've gone if they didn't have showers before you left. So when we did leave we would pack up our stuff and go back to the camper. Then we would change and go to the showers. WEll the showers were sorta a dissappointment because the first one had just enough water to be my favorite (But it wasn't hard at all). Then the second one was missing the head to where it just was a jet of water coming out...then the third one you had to have it near to your head just to get the water past the first layer of hair! Not good for someone who has thick hair like me. So yeah, I used the first one the first time then I decided to use the second one and then I decided that I actually liked how rough the second one was so then I was the one always in the 2nd shower...so yeah, a couple of days later Mom decided to come down and camp with us. When we were waiting I decided to go and take a bike ride.
Well Mom agreed to call Dad when she was there in the parking lot so she could be picked up by him. Since we only had room for 1 car in the drivway where we camped (Not that it's like a driveway..). ANd the funny thing is that when I decided to start going back to the camper I saw that Dad was going somewhere with the truck then I instantly knew that Mom was here and he was going to pick her up. So knowing that I would be there before him I decided to go and meet Mom before Dad. So I dashed up the hills and I speed up as fast as I could to go see Mom. When I did she was talking with the park ranger and she said "Well there's one of them!" then Dad was close behind...so he helped her with her bags and they went off down the isle. I waited for them to come...I was outside of the camper because they locked it! It took what seemed like forever just for them to get there. But I was glad that Mom was there.
On the few days that she wasn't with us we went to the Amusment park where there were TONS of games and rides and all of that jazz...well my personal favorite were the bumper cars!!! Can you guess how many times I went on that thing!?!?! I went on it 28 times in a row!!! Of course I was with my brother so he went on it 28 times too! So yeah, I actually was so well known with the person running the bumper cars that he knew my name and he told me to go after certain people because of the certain football team that they liked. It was fun! WEll yeah, then after that we went out to eat at Friendly's (We call it Happy's) where they had an AWSOME deal...so yeah, then we mainly just hung around the camper...BUT we did go to the Gay dolphin! It's a little tradition that our family has...and it was made in the late 60's so know you know the meaning of the name. When we were there Austin decided that he wanted a hermit crab...as many animals as we have now Dad said yes. (We have 1 cat, 1 dog, 2 gueina pigs, 1 fish) and then later on when we were home I think we got more crabs...no wait...we were at the Eagle store...and then we got 3 more hurmit crabs!!! So now we have 1 dog, 1 cat, 2 guenia pigs, 1 fish, and 4 hermit crabs!!!! Yup...In all we have 9 pets! So yeah, our trip was great and we had a good time...hope you guys had a good summer! Bye!
Love,
Maddie

Jul. 16, 2007 - We're back!!!
Yay! So we finally came back from the 4 hour trip to get back home! So, first off, when we went upstate to my Grandma's house it took us 6 hours! The longest time ever to travel for me! (That I remeber) So when we finally got there we stayed the night just so we could get refreshed and to meet my Unclels, Aunt, and little cousins again. And of course my Grandma! So once we were done over at Grandma's we went to OSP Park. It's a tradition to at least go there once every year. So once we got there we got all settled and got the bikes out of the camper and Mom set up the lights and we got all of the food in the right places (Since it was sorta banged around alot.) we ended up going on a bike ride, now this was just Me, Austin (Older Bro) and Rebecca (Younger Sis). Now the real reason why we went was because the place has a store that sells alot of candy, souviners, food, and ice cream! We couldn't wait to go there again. But it turns out that the original place was shut down for some odd reason! But they moved it to the office where there was alot more room and I guess when people sign in they see all the candy and all so that's another bonus to having it there. So we were really bummed, espically how they've been there for over 5 years! So it was a shock to us. But we found the way to go to the office. THe only problem was that when you went there was the HUGE hill that you have to go over before you get to the office. It has this really big dip before you go on the hill but it's so steep that when you go over it you're on the verge of stopping! So it took us a little while to get used to it, but over all we tackled it, and in the process we got some leg muscle! So I was happy about that, but after the 5 days we were there my legs were worn out from bikeing so much, and to make things worse we had to go up another hill to get to our camp site but it's alot easier to get there than it is to go to the office. But the fun part is going down the hills! So that was a really nice relief when you went down the hill....but anyway, they also had ping-pong, putt-putt, and a swimming area! And since this was all going through the 4th of July they had a story. It was called the "Gurn" Story. It was creepy, and when they went to the lake to do the fireworks they got a guy to dress up and pretend to be the "Gurn" and there were some girls that were screaming out of their minds! It was funny, he even grabbed a guy from the people and threw him in the water pretending to 'drown' him so called, but it didn't look like that to me! But whatever, everyone has their own story. So anyway, when that was over we went back to the camper. And by then it was about the 4th day. My Uncle and Little Cousin came down for 2 days! It was fun, and some of my family came down at one point too! it's always fun to get to see family again. So, when we were laying down for a nap on the 5th day we were interupted by someone rapping on the door. When Mom opened it up it was one of the people from the office saying that we had to leave because some people are waiting to get the spot and we were supposed to be gone this morning! Mom missread the little paper thing that says how long to get to stay and she thought that we were supposed to leave tomorrow but it turns out that it was on the 5th day, and not the 6th. So yeah, we were rushing to get everything all packed up and settled so we could head out! Since they said that people were waiting that very minute to be seated and they were supposed to get that spot. So once we got everything packed up and ready to go (When it's all packed up its all crammed into the camper so there isn't alot of room) the Guy that works there says we can stay until tomorrow because they gave the person another spot. But we decided to go ahead and head down to grandma's. And when we got there we were all happy to have a place to put the camper and for us to sleep. And I'll tell you guys the rest later! I've got to go to bed now! Bye!

Jun. 23, 2007 - The rest of the story...
If you want to know about this entry you have to go and read the one before this....
Love you guys!
Okay, now where to start, oh yeah, when he dipped me down, well, he blessed me and baptised me using the power of 'The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!'.
It was a wonderful and glorious time being baptised!
So, when he dipped me down, I closed my eyes, but somehow I remeber it as if my eyes were open the whole time! I find that a blessing to remeber...and a gift that I'll never forsake. And when he pulled me up I was still shaking but with the Holy Spirit within me! It was an over-powering feeling, being there and having so many people realize you.
I was crying, and shaking at the same time it was so wonderful! So when I got out of the tub one of my friends met me after I walked out of the room...I was dripping wet and I had no clothes to change into. But Baily gave me one of her shirts that she was wearing and that was enough for me! And when I was with Taylor, I was met by the Lady that I had given my stuff to...so, since I was dripping wet with only wet pockets to hold the things,Taylor took them for me while I tried to dry off! The cool thing is when I went down the hall I got so many "Congrats!" from some people that were my brothers and sisters in Christ
It was so awsome how you can walk into a place where you all are the same level, you all are a big family. But no matter what you're going through they are always there for you.
It was so great to have friends who hugged me and gave me some pats on the back and congradulated me on this wonderful day...but sadly my Mom wasn't there at the time, she was at home when I was working in VBS, so one of my friend's Mom's that I knew just happened to bring her camera and took a picture of me soaking wet with a towel draped around me! At first I didn't think that I could pull of a smile since I was still crying, but I pulled it off!
But I thank the Lord for those glorious moments in His presence with my family. It's a moment that I will never forget. I'll see you on the other side!

Jun. 16, 2007 - Wow....
Wow, the most remarkable thing has happened other than me being born:
I have 2 birth days now! Yup! I've been baptised!!!! Here let me tell you my story:
Well, I was helping out with Vacation Bible School (VBS) at our church, and on the last night they had baptisims. I didn't plan on getting baptised because you had to have a slip to do so, plus I had no clothes to change into. And when they started so many people got baptised! Over 200 did I believe...and 102 recieved Christ the day before; that was when they were prayed over and were prayed with. It was one of the most amazing sights that I have ever seen...and in the end when they finished the baptisims that were with slips, they said "OK, whoever wants to be baptised can come up now, permisson slip or not, this is a time when the Holy Spirit calls you to do so." So when I saw so many people get baptised, I realized that was something I wanted to do, I wanted to be someone who was up there with them! With the baptised family of Christ. And something called inside of me to do so, plus my friend Alex wanted me to since he got baptised too.
So I went up the stairs to the tub and when the first person went they only got a few hand claps and cheers. (They did 2 at a time) And when I got in the tub where people could see me people broke out in hand claps and cheering! It was so awsome to be noticed among others. And when I was in the stairway I was filled with emotion so I was crying and nervous. But when you're up there it doesn't matter if you know someone or not, so I was crying and hugging on a person that I didn't know, but inside I did.
And when I went in the pool it was nice and warm, and I was still crying out of nervousness, and from being so overwhelmed. So when one of the people that was baptising grabbed my hand he put me next to him and he asked me "Have you excepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?" And of course I answered "Yes". And then he said "I now baptise you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!" Then he dipped me down and I came up feeling better than ever! I'll never forget the feeling of how wonderful and joyful that time was.
When I came out they made me walk to another person who showed me out into the hallway, and gave me a towel. Since I had some stuff in my pockets before I went in, a lady offered to hold them for me and then give them back to me once I came back into the hallway...so I'll tell you more about it later and all of that jazz...so I'm going to go now! The Lord be with you, I know he's with me!

Jun. 11, 2007 - Yay! We're back!!!!
Ok, man is it good to be home! After 7 days of camping without some modern tec...it gets sorta crazy! *If you know what I mean* Miranda (One of my friends) is here...here she is!
HI I am new at this type of thing. I have 1 bird, 1 cat, and 1 fish! Yup, thats me. My birds name is Lua, my Cats name is Lucy from the show "I love Lucy", and my fish's name is Tinkerbell! And the funny thing is, Its a Boy, I know that you're probably thinking somethings wrong with me but really I have a reason. Since I got him on my B-day, and it was a tinkerbell theme, my friends wanted me to name it Tinkerbell so I did! LOL! Funny story huh? Well, heres Madison now:
So guys? Whats new with you? Where are you planning on going for a summer vacation? In 2 weeks we're going camping again to a place called "------------" :D Cool name huh? Anyway, we're going there because my Grandma has this 4th of July party that she has had since I can remeber. So we get to help her do this party that has over 100 people that come. Well, I better go now! I'll talk to you guys later! TTYL!!!

May. 29, 2007 -
Well, we have a guy thats one of Mom's old friends staying with us! Yay! He's really nice and he's funny too, he's going to stay with us until his Appartment is finished. So until then he's going to stay in Rebecca's room and Rebecca is going to stay with me. He came from Up north.....and you know whats funny? He doesn't Ice Skate that well...:o) I find that funny but hey, people enjoy certain things and I guess that just wasn't in his catagory. Sorry that I haven't been updating latley, I've been kinda busy, and we FINALLY got the Last bolt on the last wheel off! So all we need to do is take the finder and bumper off and then we get to sand paper the coat and get it ready to paint, and until then we're going to get all of the rust off and fix up some of the things that need to be done AKA: Seats, buckles, floor, etc.... Well, I'm going to work on it right now, (Or at least soon) So I'm going to go! Hope you're haveing a good summer!

May. 25, 2007 - Its early..yay..:o(
Well here I am around 7:50 (am) writing because I couldn't go back to bed. I woke up to Rebecca looking at me, except she was asleep when she was. I found out this morning that Rebecca can move her eyes when she's alseep and can also keep them open to where you can see her move them. Its really creppy how she doesn't really focous on anything but just randomly picks a place to look, then she sometimes just looks up to where all you see is the white in her eye...thats creppy to me. So, whats going on with you guys? I've heard most of whats going on but it would be nice to hear from you personally...I better go now, hope that whoever isn't done with school can get it done! TTFN,
Madison
