Lead by example...kind of...
So, I have been one of those bloggers who attempts to start a blog, struggles for a time, and then drops of the face of the planet. This medium of communication is definitely awkward at best for me and completely foreign to me at worst. I guess the best I can do is start again and keep at it!
Anyhow, maybe by my example, my oldest daughter will start to blog again. She is good at this sort of thing and loves to write anyhow. My middle daughter just started her own blog PhantomSparrow , so stop by and encourage her if you have a moment.
An update on our lives here in Minnesota...
We have begun another school year. Again, I did not get all my "best laid plans" accomplished before school officially began, so we have been adding things one at a time as we have gotten up to steam. My oldest, Anna, is a Sophomore this year. She hates Chemistry, after loving Biology. "Too much math!" My middle daughter, Lydia, is in 7th grade. We just switched math curriculums on the first day of school! Has that happened to anyone else? I had had misgivings about the direction we were taking but talked myself into it (trying to save money)...and I realized after today's lesson that I was right to have those misgivings! UGH! Next time I will listen to myself more!
My youngest girl, Elisabeth, is in 5th grade. She has been really easy to teach this year. Math is easier, history is easier, latin is easier...hopefully spelling will be easier! My youngest boys, Brogan and Soren, are 4 and 1 years. Brogan is going to Preschool to give me a break...although the extra driving is interrupting our schedule more than I had planned.
I will update more in the future!
