Apr. 8, 2008 - Reduced Blog Activity

Is it just me, or has blog activity slowed down a bit lately?

We can still count on SmallWorld for regular entries, but even she is down from the 5 or 6 entries per day that she once posted.

I thought DrHibiscus was blogging less than his usual quarterly posts, but I see he is about on par with his frequency last year and updates his avatar more often than he posts new entries.

Rcelliott made up an excuse about some chicken mummies kidknapping Emma and heading south with his computer, but I think he is trying to catch up now.

I have noticed also, though, that fewer comments are being left. Are there fewer people commenting because there are not as many blog entries to capture their interest? Or are bloggers blogging with less frequency because they feel that no one is reading anyway?

Hhhhmmm???

If you are someone that used to read my blog, but lost interest and no longer read it, please leave me a comment to let me know why you quit.

Thanks... That would really help me to know what not to blog about in the future.

I think no one is commenting because the chicken mummies have terrified their homes and left them all in the bathtub hiding in fear.

I am not sure what is going on, but I feel the same way. I kinda get a little discouraged when I pour out my heart and no one responds. It is much easier to play SpeedRacer and not care what it going on.

I read your blog every time you post. I know that, for me, google reader plays a big part in why I don't leave as many comments as I used to. I may have something to say, but 9 times out of 10 it is not important enough to actually go go someone's blog to post it.

If not for Google reader I would likely already be at the blog and leave a comment... important or not.

the computer option i have now doesn't allow me to log in. I AM USING A GAME CONTROLLER TO TYPE ON A PLAYSTATION 3, so I still read but writing is painful to say the least. Keep blogging we would miss you.

I'm a horrible commenter, I confess! Actually, I don't think I have you on my friends list; I'll rectify that immediately!

We managed to sneak Emma away from the CMs; either they were asleep or faking, probably thinking up more mischief.
