The LORD is so good! He has given me and continues to give me so much! He is also teaching me to recognize all the good that comes from Him. James 1:17 says "Every good gift and every perfect(free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]." Amp. He gave me the words to speak with my mother-in-law about being saved. She asked me all kinds of questions and I had the responses...thanks to the Holy Spirit whom I know was with me. There's no way that I would have responded so calmly and with the seemingly right answers if He was not. (Also, I felt the goosebumps that I feel whenever He's with me.) This conversation was so cool! I have some great friends who encourage me and pray with me and help me and accept me as I am with all my faults. I am not the best housekeeper. Recently 1 of my friends came over and saw the mess (that I am a little embarrassed of, but it is just too overwhelming for me.) This friend hugged me and said that she still loved me even though it was not the most organized house. Another friend came over and helped me organize 1 of my children's room. We were all so excited. It was like being on a home makeover show. The other child said, "I can't wait until she comes back to do my room." That's all I have time for now. More to come later. |
