Snow this winter??

There seems to be a different chill in the air this November.

Maybe it's wishful thinking ... maybe it's the fact that there was some discussion about snow this past Monday with other moms ... maybe I'm just losing my edge (I've not owned a winter coat since I moved here in college) ...

It's been several years since we've had enough of the white stuff to even pretend we were sledding! I can't imagine much making my guys happier than a couple of days snowed in ... unable to even get into town! That sounds like bliss to me!

I'm hoping for a white winter this year!

I heard somewhere that this is supposed to be an El Nino year, which has generally provided a healthy dose of snow to us in this area. The last couple of years have just been pitiful! I actually bought *myself* a sled last year, and am itching to use it.

True optimists should know that snow pants are in stock right now at Target!

We can only hope. Since we've been away from Iowa (and 5 solid months of snow and frigid temperatures) I've been missing snow, especially the last few pathetic years. A good couple of days of deep snow and the accompanying snowball fights, snowmen, and sledding would be awesome!
