Five Words No Dad Wants to Hear

Last night, Captain Chaos uttered five words that are guaranteed to strike fear in the heart of any father of a daughter.

“Hey, boys!” she exclaimed, waving across the table at her brothers.  “Look at me!”

“I can only hope,” I observed to the Boss, wincing.  “That she grows out of that statement by the time she turns fourteen!”

The Boss laughed, looking at her four-year-old twin. “She won’t.”

“I beg your pardon?”

“I was a bit boy crazy at fourteen.”

Hmmm....

It’s time to clean the shotgun.

A really big stick...and some big brothers also work.
My mom insisted the my brothers hang around if I were meeting with fellas. And they looked as near to mafia as they could without the guns. Sheesh. Get the boys on your side, too. *L*

I agree....keep those boys on your side.....2 older brothers should do the trick on scaring away unwanted attention

And make sure to sign her up for martial arts too! Annaleigh just thinks it's for fun and a PE credit. Big D and I know better. We want the boys to fear her!

Guy keeps the firearms cleaned and ready. And he moved us to the middle of the woods.

I think I may know why now.....

The more I read about her, the more I know the Boss and I would get along famously. I worry about my 8-year-old daughter because she's showing signs...although I wasn't homeschooled, so I was allowed to let my hormones begin to rage in a classroom setting. My boss is also cleaning the shotgun.
