Dec. 19, 2008 - Trumpeter Swan & Design
This is a Trumpeter Swan I drew. I drew it with pencil and then I colored it in with paint. I am going to give it to my sister Mariah so the Trumpeter Swan has a slate around it's neck and a chalk pencil.
This is my design I did and some of the lines aren't very straight because I didn't do them with a ruler.
After I drew the design with watercolor pencils, I spread water over the papers and then it looked a little more blurred.
Dec. 10, 2008 - The Happy Farmer
Today I was playing my violin and I asked my mom if she would find the words to the Happy Farmer, which was one of the songs I play. She found this video of someone playing the electric violin of the Happy Farmer. Please play it.
Here are the words to the Happy Farmer.
The Happy Farmer (words provided by Mary Margaret Haraden)
The happy farmer goes out to his fields,
He hoes the weeds and sows the seeds
And stomps the bug.
The happy farmer goes out to his fields,
He hoes the weeds and sows the seeds
And stomps the bug.
No time to rest, or take a little nap.
The happy farmer goes out to his fields,
He hoes the weeds and sows the seeds
And picks the fruit.
No time to rest, or take a little nap.
The happy farmer goes out to his fields,
He hoes the weeds and sows the seeds
And picks the fruit.
Dec. 9, 2008 - Natalie's Rules Of Civility
We have been doing copy work on George Washington,s Rules Of Civility . Today I just made my own Natalie,s Rules Of Civility. Here it is...
Natalie’s Rules Of Civility
Do not issue an exclamation to your mother, unless it is immediately followed by the question you mean to ask.
Use your fork or spoon to pick up food with, unless you are eating friend chicken, corn on the cob, toast, or french fries.

Oct. 31, 2008 - New Pictures
The water in the picture, I just added more water to the water colors in the picture. It makes the picture look better.
This artist is drawing a picture. There is a bunch of paint on the ground because he was painting a lot and all the paint got on the ground. He painted his own clothes. He told his wife to sew him white clothes and he painted them. The giraffe is standing on the fence. I was suppose to draw a strange picture. That's why I drew the giraffe on the fence.

I drew like Cimabue. I drew a picture with water colors. And I painted a piece of water color paper and cut it out for the sun and I glued it on. Cimabue used a sheet of golden paper to make his pictures.
Oct. 13, 2008 - Apples, Horses, Flowers
There are two apples as you can see. One is made out of glitter. The other picture is made out of oil pastels. Which horse do you like the best ? The Morning Glory is a wild flower.

Oct. 10, 2008 - Fall
Here is a poem I wrote:
Fall
The leafs on the trees come falling off,
And, the trees look bare like a bear coming through the air.
But, the nature's still there, some flowers still there, and other things too.
And, that's all there is to it and to knit.

Oct. 20, 2008 - Thanks For Joining The Party! I really enjoyed your poem! I can crochet but knitting unfortunately is beyond me. I'm sure one of these days I'll learn how though. Blessings! ~ Nikki
