Escapades at Rockie's Funny Farm

Nov. 9, 2006 - Tutorial Posting

This post is a lesson showing Rockied how to post a new entry.

We will post examples of using the smiley icon.
Rockied put broccoli in the throw it together salad she made for lunch today.  I like broccoli.

This is LizBeth when she found out that Big D was getting to spend the night.

This is Rockied chasing her chickens.  It happens alot at the funny farm.

Now we will do examples of using the hyperlink to make it easier to get there from here (not easily done in our part of the woods.)

LizBeth is one of Rockied's friends.  If you click on LizBeth's name it will take you to her blog -- if we did this right.  If you'd like to check out the curriculum they use over there at the funny farm, you'd want to visit either Bob Jones Press or AlphaOmega.

If you want to change the size, color, etc. you would do this.

Rockied

This is the end of our lesson today.  I'm signing off and trusting that I'll hear from you or Rockied soon.

Blessings, MaggieRaye

Nov. 8, 2006 - An Intro From MaggieRaye

Good Morning Folks!

My friend Rocke had me rolling on the floor laughing this morning as she related the most recent escapade from her funny farm.

This morning Houdini the mouse escaped the drier, a pair of jeans, Rockie with the bowl, the cat, the dog and was finally trapped in a file folder of siding samples before deposited safely out the back door, looking rather indignently at the six human beings staring out at him. At which he ran under the house (and most likely back to the same opening which led him into the drier in the first place....tee hee hee.

Of course Little D wanted to save the mouse in the fish tank I gave her to house comfortably the 20 some woolly bears she caught and was lodging in a small coffee can - as a result of a science lesson at my house - oops!

Rockie tells it all so much better than I do, though.  She'll be in shortly to share her version of the hyseterical hysteria from her little farm in the woods.

Praying you all have a happy homeschooling day,
MaggieRaye
