Nov. 13, 2008 - Sunday

Last Sunday our friends came after church for lunch.  After lunch we went and climbed on the hay bales& played in the hay barn.  We made a little house .  We made walls , beds , chairs and a couch.  We also made a kitchen and a pretend fire , out of wood and paper we found.  We collected some weeds and plants and made pretend food,  I made bread out of weeds, water and dirt. We pretended to be a band of  3 robbers.  And my dad was the police.  But he never caught us.    It was really fun!!!  Bye

Oct. 16, 2008 - Food

Here are a few recipies that we used on our camping trip:

Eggs in a Frame

Cut out a medium size circle out of a slice

of bread, with a biscuit cutter.

Butter bread on both sides.

brown the bread on one side on a medium heat

in buttered frying pan.

Turn over, and crack 1 egg into the hole.

Cook slowly until egg white is set.

sprinkle with salt .

Lift out with a spatula.

You can make these at home to

instead of a camp fire.

Makes 1 serving.

Smore's

You will need :

Marshmallows

Graham Crackers

Milk chocolate bars

Set 2 squares of chocolate bar on a

graham cracker.

Toast a marshmallow over coals or

flames (watch them so they won't catch

fire).  Slip it onto the chocolate & graham cracker, and top

 with second graham cracker.

Hope you will try them!!!!!            Bakinggirl

Sep. 11, 2008 - Another Book Review

A Journey To The new world

The Diary Of  Remember Patience Whipple

This book was great!  I recomend it to any one.  It was about this girl who was on the Mayflower.  On the ship she was kind of bored.

And If I tell you any more you will know the whole story!!!   But it was a vary good book.  It was sad in some parts though.  I loved it!!

Bye,

P.S. It is in the Dear America series.

Sep. 4, 2008 - Book Review

The Double Life of Pocahontas

If you have not read this book  and watched the Pocahontas movie I suggest that you don't read this book.  The movie is so much better than the book.  And the book had a lot more detail.  But the detail was kind of  bad.  It was not in the movie, but it is better left out.  Some People  may like the book better than the movie.  But I personally liked the movie way better.
