Club Malibu!

Let me start off with an apology. I am soooo super duper sorry that I have been neglecting my blog. And hopefully I will have some readers left... although I highly doubt it =]

Ok well, I am going to blog about some of the amazing experiences that I had in Canada!

To start off I had to wake up at the horrid hour of 3. Who gets up at that time anyway?! Well I wasnt to upset about that since I had just gone to sleep 2 hours earlier. Haha. And I basically just got up and walked to the car! I will spare you the details of the trip and just tell you that it was 12 hours and extremely boring and uneventful. Although the scenery, when it finally got light wnough to see, was a beautiful reminder of God's awesome creativity and power. As you will see in some of my pictures =]

Heres a pic of a little island place... I have no idea what the name is so.. sorry.

This is just a beautiful picture from there.

Do you see the womans profile? Look carefully on the horizon. The mountains? Comment and tell me wether or not you see it! =]

Isn't that just amazing! It was just SO beautiful there!!

There was TONS of clothes hanging everywhere on all the rails, because it rained off and on the whole week, so we kept on getting really wet, and so everyone just hung their clothes. We though that would be a better idea than, hanging them up in the cabins...... THAT stunk!!!!! Ugh! It was HORRIBLE! Bleh. All those wet clothes.. that slowly, but surely we're getting all moldy.......

Here is a picture of the front of our cabin, Nootka 3 =]

Here's a pic of the inner dock, that had the canoes, kayaks, Blob, and wake boarding.

That is ALL of our luggage! At the outer dock.

There is really to MANY things that I could say about all the fun at Camp! But I dont have that much time to tell it myself... so you will just have to go and see for yourself!

I hopefully will blog much more frequently! Haha =]

Hello!

Hi! So there not much to talk about (Gasp) Because well, after the Recital there is no dance classes (AAAAAAAHHHHHHH) Sorry I just had to let that out haha. But seriously I absolutely am about to die from not being able to dance! As I sit here I am reminscing about how wonderful it feels to dance and how I wish that I can dance, but its break week and there is no dance! Let me repeat that NO DANCE! Hannah and I are officially going CRAZY! But we only have been off dance for 1 week and we still have 2 weeks to go! This is NOT cool! And I am very sorry to report but my knees are taking a rest time. (more like a timeout)  This summer is going to be filled with "fun" activities such as swimming laps for  30-45 minutes a day 3 times a week, and doing Nordic Track 30-45 minutes a day 3 days a week, doing various weird excercises to rehabilitate my knees every day, and last but not least the machines that help my knees. I am not sure exactly what they are called but they are going to help me a lot this summer. At least they better! And the worst thing about this summer is that I am only allowed to take 1 lets repeat that ONE Ballet Class!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I need to tell you how sad that makes me feel? Its going to be very hard not being able to dance a lot this summer. Unbelieveably hard. But with Gods help I will make it with as few tears as possible. We still have to decide what ONE class I can take and its going to be hard. Whenever I talk or think about it the tears come. Its so hard! And next year I have to cut down 50% of my dance classes. That too is going to be hard, but I am not going to think about that at the moment. There is not even going to be a next year if I dont get my knees better this summer. My parents have made it crystal clear that if I do not get my knees better then there is absolutley no way I will be allowed to audition for my beloved Ballet Company. Which is making me cry as I am typing this.

Some better things this summer is that I am going to be nannying these to very cute girls Isabel and Jessica who are 6 year old twins. I am going to be watching then 5 days a week fro about 8:30-1:15 monday through friday. And I am starting tomorrow! Which is very exciting!

Yesterday I went up to the Duckabush for a CIT Meeting. It is for a Camp that my brother and I are going to be working at this summer. It was lots of fun to just hang out with Rachel! =] Thank you Rachel for coming and not leaving me with Josh, Tim, and your Dad. haha =-]

I have been meaning to blog about the rest of the recital, but I want to get the videos ready so you will have to patiently wait for them =]

I did want to say a special THANK YOU! To my teachers Mallory and Ana though.

panda thank you

Mallory, is such a kind teacher and she was always so patient with me except for when I would constantly turn out (it drove her nuts) Thank you for being the best Tap teacher and for being understanding of my obvious problems with turnout. Haha I really enjoyed Tap this year and I am hoping to take it again sometime! BTW I was not the only person who woukd turnout Haley did too! ...........Just not as much as me. =]

THANK YOU

And thank you to Ana for being the best Ballet Teacher in the WORLD! Theres not much to be said that wasnt in the letter haha. The very looong letter. But I just want to say that I love the fact that you are willing to work with me and my knee problems. =] And thank you for helping Hannah and I with our problems and for being there for all of us dancers! You are a wonderful teacher and I love you!

Ballerina Bench

A Final word................................

comment please

Love you all!!!!

2008 My Generation Dance Recital

Ok I am sooooo sorry that I havent blogged in approximately 2 weeks =] But I have been sooooo busy its almost funny, but not quite =] Well we just had our Dance Recital and it was truly one of the most fun/exciting/busy/sad weekends of my life! You might be wondering why it was sad, but you will have to read further to find out! Haha. Well all this craziness started on friday when we had our Dress Rehearsal. Dress Rehearsal was REALLY good for Hannah and I we did really well at our dances I messed up in the Enya and the Ballet 2 class dance, but the other dances I did rather nicely. So I was pleased with that day. It took so long and I was soooo tired and it seems all a blur, so as I sit here in front of my computer I am trying to remember what happened. Its not working. AAARGH! Well you will just have to take my word for it I was fantasticaly fun! =] One of my good friends, (Not that I have bad friends haha) Emily had gotten hurt on Wednesday, she sprained her ankle, and so she could not perform on pointe, for some of her dances and it hurt a loooot so she was really sad! I was sooo sad for her to! When I called her that night to see how she was, I was crying too, but I didnt want to make her feel even more bad so I tryed to hide it. So there was a lot of drama that day because I got the cruel news that I can only do 1 class this summer and I will most likely have to cut down 50 percent of my dance classes next year. So I was crying about that and then I cryed about Emily and so that was just a very emotional day for me! The next day I texted my friend Andrea and we got to "talking" about Emily and I was saying that I wanted to do something special for her, so we decided that I would get a card and decorate it and then Andrea would get her cookies and that I would get my mom to get flowers for her. So that day was really busy trying to get all that stuff together, trying to find a good poem for the card was really hard, but I did find a good one for her. =] And then Hannah and I decorated the HUGE card. Then the next day, friday, we had the Dress Rehearsal and we gave the card and cookies and flowers to Emily and she cryed and said that she loved it, it was nice to make her feel better. Because I felt really bad for her. =[ But I am glad to report that Emily made it through "The Weekend" and that she is on her way to being fully recovered! (I sound like a doctor, but that was the point) So that was a fun filled, frantic, emotional, and dramatic day. It only got worse. On Saturday was the DAY that we had sweated, stressed, worked, cryed, laughed, and hurt various body parts for. And the day stared out good the first show went through without any "emotionaly happenings" but the second show............... I am getting ahead of my self, lets backtrack to the two and a half break we got in between shows. Our friends Kaitlin and Casin came over to watch both shows so in between the shows we went to Ruby Tuesdays and I had french fries lol I LOVE french fries!!!! And Tim, Casin, and I had a chugging contest with our cherry lemonades it was soooo funny! I won!!!!! I downed about half of my drink and Tim was close, but he wouldn't admit it =] But I will for him =] That was soooo fun! Then we went back for the second show. The second show was ok I guess. Hannah had some mishaps in her Jazz/Lyrical Company performance she fell on stage and so she was really sad about that. She also had a mishap in our Ballet 2 class, but its fine, I bet nobody noticed except for the people who know the dance. I really messes up in my Candyman tap dance it was NOT good. But I will and did survive =] I had a really long break in the second show so I spent a lot of it talking with my friend Amy. And I got to know her more so that was really nice. Here is a nice break from reading so that you can look at some pictures.

Here is Hannah, Kaitlin and I

Haley, Drew, Emily, ??, Carissa, Missy,Amanda,  Alexis, Callan, Me, Andrea, and Lilly

Haley, and Maili doing weird faces and Andrea looking surprised =]

A cool picture of Alexis

Kaitie and I

Hannah and Kaitie with "The King"

Me, looking very happy! Haha

My Ballet Teacher Ana, and I. Sorry that some of these are blury =]

Apparently some people ( namely hannah) have been complaing about the weird pictures I put of them so I  am putting a weird picture of me now. PLEASE do not laugh!

Ok so there it is. I was beckoning other people to come and join the pisture when this was taken.

Here is Amanda, Emily, Hannah, Rachel, me, and Kaitlin

Ok so back to the reading, My really good friend Rachel came to the Recital and that was really fun! So I was talking to Emily and I was telling her that I wouldnt be doing a lot of dance in the summer. And then I started crying and then someone was passing and said if you want to cry go over there to join the cry fest. And so we went down the hall and there was soooooo many people and they were all crying because our friend Missy was leaving the Y so we all were crying and sobbing and my dad was taking some pictures trying to capture the moment. Uh Hum, so yeah he took them even though we were telling him not to through our tears. But he did anyway. So we were crying and hugging each other for about 30 minutes  while our friends and parents looked on with strange looks on their faces. I wonder why. lol

Poor Kellen was so sad!

Here is a funny picture of Hannah my dad was going to take a picture of Hannah when she was crying when some unwelcome people showed up jk. At least she is smiling now! =]

Ok thats all for now I will post again about this tomorrow maybe =]

Big Hair Big Scare

Today was a scary day.

I had a fight with someone, who will remain nameless. Imagine if you will a fight with mousse, not moose as in animal but mousse as in hair product. And well the result was rather frightening. For this nameless person has really big hair. and when you drench this persons hair in Volumizing Mousse, correction EXTRA Volumizing Mousse. WEll the result is not pretty. Mayeb I should start at the beginning. We got some new hairthings and they were all Volumizing products and this morning we took showers and she added some volumizing creme stuff and, and her hair got really really huge! And then during lunch I said that she should put a little bit of mousse in it to calm it down. So we went and we were putting a little bit of mousse in her hair. And then I noticed that it was VOLUMIZING mousse and then I was like "Umm excuse me _______, but I think that you just put VOLUMIZING mousse in your hair!" And then while she was freaking out I took the other bottle of EXTRA volumizing mousse and, well you have to understand that this other mousse bottle had the kind of nozzle that if you shoot it out of the nozzle then it flies really far, so when i sparyed her I got like a pound of it in her hair! And so then she was screaming and I was laughing and then she saw herself in the mirror with tooons of mousse in her hair, that expands by the way, so then she started laughing. And I was laughing sooo hard that I left and when I came back I sprayed more in her hair! And then she freaked out more and then she grabbed it from me and sprayed me with it and well, its kinda hard to explain but we were both COVERED in EXTRA volumizing mousse. So here are some pics of her hair after we tried to tame it down a bit. HAHAHAHA.

Well they are the pics of the nameless person. I hope you had a good laugh! I know I did.

Love you all and please comment me.

Cafe Murder

Hi! Last friday we had our last day of HOPE co-op! YAY! It was kind of bitter sweet. Because we are happy that there is no more homework, but it is sad because we wont be able to see some of our friends for a long time! I had a really hard time that day, but I wont go into details =] If I already told you about it then you are special, and if you saw it happen, good for you. The rest of ya'll are just going to have to guess. Or ask politely. I had a play performance and I was Marjorie, the banker. It was an Ok part, but I would rather of been someone different . I had to skip ballet, which I did NOT want to do!!!!! I wish that I could of magically made it to dance, but I couldnt. =[ sadness I know. . . . But I probably wouldn't of been able to actually participate it in my classes because I have stupid knees, you guys have probably heard me say a lot about my knees, and you might not actually know what I am talking about! I dont even really know what I am talking about! You will have to ask Ana haha.

I will start with Tarah! Tarah graduated form Kindergarten, and they had a special ceremony for the 3 kindergartners. Here is some pics.

Tarah and Sarah

Yay Tarah!

Well next I am will show you guys some pics of our Play, Cafe Murder! I dont have any pics of during the performance, but I do have before and after ones =]

Savana K.

Have you ever wondered?

These are pretty cool! And funny =] Dont sing the songs.

Can you cry under water?

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane ?

If the professor on Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat?

Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours? They're both dogs!

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME stuff, why didn't he just buy dinner?

If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what is baby oil made from?

Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?

Pointe Shoe Madness!

Hi! Well we have some very exciting news! Hannah my lovely and talented sister might be able to be en pointe this september! I am sooooooooooo excited! I cant wait until I can teach her stuff! It is going to be soooo much fun! And last night I was just lying in my bed, icing my injuries and reminiscing about when I was told that I could be en pointe. . . . . . . . I remember the day like it was yesterday, actually I remember that whole week like it was yesterday. It started on a monday, most weeks do you know, and I was in this Ballet 1 class, and this girl named Sammy was asking about Pointe, and then she asked if I was on pointe and I said "No, not yet" very dejectedly =]and Ana, said "No, but she will be soon." Well, she had been saying that for months and so I was just thought sure, yeah, uh huh, soon can be a very loooong time. But I didnt say that out loud, just in my head. =] But that wednesday during Pointe class, Ana just asked me if I wanted to go buy pointe shoes that saturday with her and this other girl Andrea!  I was SHOCKED! She just out of the blue yelled across the room "Hey you! " Lilly and I both were like "me" and we pointed to ourselves and then she was like no not you, you. And I was just like "me" and she said yes. Then she was like do you want to go get pointe shoes this Saturday? I still could not believe it! I looked behind me to see if there was someone else, but there wasnt!  I could not believe it!!!! I just remember asking if I could go and call my mom and ask her and Ana said yes and I ran all the way down the long hallway ignoring the yells to not run in the hallway and called my mom and I was like "Mom, mom guess what?! Ana said that I could go on pointe! Can we go get pointe shoes this saturday? Please Please please please please pretty pretty pretty please?" And I was praying as hard as I could that she would say yes! And she did! And then my level of happiness that was at "I CAN do pointe" went to "I CAN get pointe shoes!!!!!!!" Then I ran all the way back to trhe dance room and I slowed down before I got there, because heaven forbid that I look toooo excited =] haha. I walked in and, and so much for subtlety I ran to my teacher and was I was like My mom said yes!!!!!! And I hugged her and I was jumping up and down, if I remember correctly. . . . haha. And she just said that I have to promise to work hard and, of course I said I would, who wouldnt? And I was walking on air the whole day I was just soooo excited! I bet I couldnt stop smiling! Then the next 2 days were the looongest days of my whooole life! I walked and slept and danced on air! And I looked at our discount dance magazine and looked at all the beautiful ballerinas not believing that I could actually do those things, but wishing that I could. And I knew that my wish was becomimg more of an reality. I knew it was going to be hard, but I knew that I was going to try sooo hard and that I was going to get better. It was actually very nice, because before I used to HATE looking at the dance magazines because I wanted to be en pointe, but I wasnt en pointe, and that made me mad!!!! So remember looking through that magazine going WOW I can not believe that I will actually be able to do that someday! It was just. . . . . . . . . . I cant really explain it, but it was wonderful!  And finally that saturday came and I was excited and I was telling everybody, that I was going to go get pointe shoes! I think they were just like, yay Bethany, but thats the 6th time you told me today! But i didnt care =] But as the time grew nearer I started to get nervous and I started to think, what if I go and when I try on the pointe shoes Ana thinks that I am not ready yet, and she changes her mind! I really did think that, but I dont know why =] haha. But, I did get my coveted Pointe shoes and I could not wait to wear them! And when did did I was just soooo happy! That I didnt feel pain that much! I remember standing with Carissa at the barre and doing warm ups with my First Pair of Pointe Shoes and we were doing the simplest things and she was saying that her feet hurt really bad and then she asked if mine hurt. And the I just paused and I thought about it and then I was like, I think they do, but I cant feel them because I am to excited for it to hurt! But, of course they did hurt after and I had the blisters to prove it =] So that is the story of my first Pointe Shoes! I am sure that it was not that exciting for you to read, but it was for me! =] = ] =]

Now I am soooo excited that Hannah gets to be en pointe! And I know that she is going to do GREAT! Because I know my sister and she is just great at everything she does! =] Plus she has the beautiful ankles that I am really really really jealous of, but we wont get into that right now. She is going to be soooo happy and I bet she is going to be better then everyone! Ok, not everyone but at least she will be better then me someday! And I will be so proud of her! Hannah is just such a talented dancer! That is hard to believe, but its true! And it is just going to be soooo much fun! And I am just sooooo excited! In case you cant tell! This is probably going to be the longest summer ever! Haha. I wish I had pretty ankles =[

Love you all! =] Have a wonderful day!

She can do things that took me 3 years to learn! I wish I learned that fast!

Well thats all for now =]

Hi Peeps.

Ok, so I just found some pics of us when we were really little, so I decided that you guys should see them! Here is a picture of me on a boat at the Loch Ness. Just in case you didnt know "Loch" means "Lake" so yeah anyway, when we lived in England we visited Scotland and we had a chance to search for the Loch Ness Monster =-] It was sooo much fun!

It was extremely windy as you can see! Haha, lovely hair.

Here is Tomothy, Hannah and I. In a Cinderella! Tim was Fido the dog, and I was Cleo the Cat and Hannah was a cute pumpkin! Hehe, we were sooo adorable! What happened? I think that Hannah will kill me for putting this pic up, she would rather not remember her part as the cute "punkin"  Singin' "Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie, nothing suits my tummy like a puuuumpkin pie!" HAHA, You should here us sing it! We still even remember the dance to it!

Despite popular belief, I did not get Tarah messy, wether you believe me or not it was Tarah! Yes, you heard me correctly cute, adorable Tarah was the one who got into the lotion! Yes, I know it is hard to believe someone with a cute face like that would be able to do a naughty thing like that, but hey look at her hands, they speak for themselves!

Love you all!

Regoinals

Hi! =]   :]

Yesterday we went to Oregon for my brother Timothy's Regoinals gymnastics meet and it was really really long, normally they are about 3-4 hours this one was 6 and a half hours!!!!! If you do the math it was like 30-45 minutes for each event and 40 minutes for awards! It was soooo long Hannah and I were soooo bored at the end! And Timothy only competed for about a total of 20 minutes, so there was not that much to do! Although we did get to see our really good friend Kaitlin even though that was only for 15 minutes =[ And we had to tell Kaitie "something" so we were trying to get away from Logan (weirdo person) and Casin (her brother) but they wouldnt let us go so we tryed to get to the girls bathroom, but that didnt stop Logan and Casin from trying to block the doorway, but we finally escaped, and in the safety of the girls bathroom we told Kaitie what we needed to (mission almost accomplished) Haha, all we needed to do was get a picture before we left, sounds easy doesnt it, NOT so, we made several attempts before we finally got one =]

Close but not quite =]

Ok, so thats close, but that hand is not quite workin for me.

Thats more like it! =] Mission Accomplished!

But. this blog post is not about Hannah and I and our friends, its about Timothy! Well it WILL BE about Tim in a second!

Ok, now it can be about Timothy. =]

Well here is a few pictures of my brother at his Regionals Gymnastics Meet!

Vey nice, Timothy just point your toes a bit more next time =] haha jk. This is Tim during his warm up.

Here is Tim on Rings which was his first event! I could never do that!!!!! I doubt you could either!

His next event was vault, but I didnt get any good pictures of him on it! Sorry guys!

After vault he did P-Bars and he placed 3rd all-around in 3 WHOLE states in this event! We were sooo happy! Here is some good pics of him on p-bar

Now that takes skill! Can you so that? I dont think so! Oh yeah, would you like some ice with that burn!!!!

Here, is Timothy on Highbar! Isnt that cool?

Then he competed on floor.

And here is Timothy on floor doing a handstand.

And here is Timothy doing a back tuck sorry its a little blury =]

Now THAT is awesome!!!

Here is the last of the six events Pommel Horse, on pomell you also do the mushroom, the mushroom is what Tim is what Tim is doing in this picture.

That is really really hard! Thise are called flares and it is SOOOOO Hard! I have tryed to do circles, which is basically the easiest thing on mushroom and I was HORRIBLE! Haha, it was pretty funny though with Brandon and Tim yelling at me telling what I was doing wrong. Haha, I finally just gave up, saying that I could do lots of things that they cant do. Haha =]

Well, that was his meet and I hope you enjoyed it =] Sorry it took so long to post about it!

Ballet Performance

Hi Everyone! If you read the other post before this than Kudos to you! If you didnt then I wish you bad luck for the next four years! You have to read it because my wonderful Ballet Teacher Ana, very graciously accepted our "forceful" pleads for her to be a guest blogger on my blog! Haha. Well anyway you have to go and check it out because she worked really hard on it =] So well since I dont want Ana, to be mad at me so I am going to blog about our performance. On the sidebar is a video of our performance. BTW I am the short one in the long pink costume on the right side. And since my Auntie video taped it and she didnt know how to turn the camera on, you wont be able to see the whole dance. Sorry to the Queens you did wonderful! Also please ignore my mistakes, like when we do the passe (not correct spelling by the way, i don't know how to spell it so I just guessed haha) thingy (right before we do the port de bras) And my arms go over my head. Yeah, I wasn't supposed to do that, I don't even know why I did it. Right before we did it I thought "I will put my arms over my head" then right after I did it I thought "Why on earth did I do that!" Oh, well whats done is done. So yeah please don't notice my mistakes =/ except for Ana, she can tell me what I did wrong since that's what she's paid for. Haha. Ok, so its taking like a million bajillion minutes to upload the video so I am really frusturated with it!!! And when it finally loads I am going to put it on my sidebar if it works if it doesnt I am reallllly sorry! Ok so I put it on, but it is really fuzzy, and I cant hear the music, but if you really love me and want to try and decifer the video then you can watch it. =] Yeah, Ana sice it is really slow then you can see our mistakes really well! Haha, but I just watched really really really slow, and I saw ALL of my mistakes! There is nothing like watching yourself on video to make you realize all the things that you did wrong =[. Oh My Goodness! My  feet in the assemble beat thingamajig. Is soooo horrible I bet it would have looked better if I had not pointed my feet at all! Because what I did was, I pointed my feet right before I beated my legs so it looks really horrid. And also I didnt lean in it either and so it looks even worse =[ But I did plie, so the jump was high, but that was the only thing good haha. But I really had tons of fun! I wish that you guys could have been there! Also it was soooo hot outside! It was 84 degrees! And I got sunburned on my shoulders and my cheeks and nose =[

I am going to Oregon tomorrow for my brothers LAST gymnastics meet =[ it is Regionals and I am so proud of him! Wish him luck! And I am going to blog about it on monday or tuesday, EXCUSE me "M"onday or "T"uesday ( sorry Brigette =P ) Haha

Love you all and read Ana's blog! Haha

sigh

Hello everyone !

I am the infamous Ana, and I have absolutely nothing to talk about.  I was convinced to post this blog by the lovely Hannah and her wonderful sister Bethany.  As you all know, they are dancers in my ballet class at the YMCA.  There's a performance today that i should be getting ready to go to right now.  Im sure Bethany will blog about it later. You better Bethany or I'll be all sorts of upset.

I'm being really lazy and I haven't moved from the couch in a long time.  I tend to get hurt a lot from dancing too much when I'm not supposed to so I'm using ALL the ice in the house at the moment icing my hip, knees, and both ankles.  It's really not all that bad.  My students tend to WORRY TOO MUCH and yell at me A LOT...but it's ok.  I suppose it's just because they care.  But dancing is my life and I'll do it if I wanna. (I'm stomping my feet right now to make a better point just so you know.)

I'm watching the T.V. show Made on MTV.  I don't know if you have seen it, but it's a show where a person chooses something to be made into that is on the opposite spectrum of where they actually fit in.  I never watch this show, but todays episode is about a girl who plays ice hockey who wants to be made into a ballerina.  Soooooooo I thought it would be fun to watch.  It's kind of a painful episode to watch.  She is really horrible.  AWWWWWW NOOOO. She's crying.

Well, I should probably quit being lazy now and go work on choreography and get dressed to go to the performance.  Ill talk to you all later, or maybe not...who knows

Impossible is nothing, and nothing is impossible.  Dance like no one is watching

Apr. 10, 2008

Hi! I have been sick a lot lately! Right now I am sick with a sore throat and a small fever =[ Even though it doesnt sound like that much it really is! Sometimes I cant really walk, because I ams so weak and so I basically just lay around my house doing nothing. I really hate being sick, because I cant go to dance! Sometimes, I am allowed to go to my class I just cant dance =[ So yeah, on wednesdasy I just sat in all of my classes. . . . . . . pretty boring. I almost didnt survive! Jk. I was actually almost glad that I was just watching, because I was feeling pretty crummy. I was trying to act normal (hmm am i ever normal? strange question) well, maybe I should rephrase that. Lets see, I was trying to act like I wasnt sick, and well it was really hard, I am not sure if I really succeded. Well, for one thing, I absolutely HATED sitting out! I really like to participate in class, if you dont like to participate them why would you even want to join a class, I even like participating in the hard stuff. The hard stuff is my favorite! That might sound weird, but its true. So deal with it, I am really weird that way (and many others, but we wont go into that) at least thats what Hannah says. Anything else that was interesting on wednesday, hmmm well we got our beautiful, gorgeous costumes (cough cough) Haha, jk, there was some mixed reactions from the girls about them. I will have to take pics of them and post them on here. One of my costumes was the wrong size for me it was waaaay to small! When I held it up I was like Oh YAY I think I grew! Not so. They ordered a child medium for me and I am supposed to have a adult small. So yeah, I asked Alexis what size hers was and hers was a child large. And she is waaay smaller then me and I got size smaller than her! Ok, she isnt waaay smaller than me she is 2 inches shorter, but that two inches is a lot to me! Ok, so that was fun trying on costumes, but that ended, and I found out that I didnt grow, they just ordered the wrong size =[, disapointment at its greatest. And I kept on laughing at funny things that happened, which made my throat hurt so much!!!!! And then my voice was all hoarse and so I was really sad =[ I wasnt technically supposed to keep on talking a lot, but. . . . . .  you know how things turn out. . . . . so ya, long story short, I had a really weird sounding voice, that kept on getting worse =-[ sadness. Also I had a really bad headache, because they were doing ballet to hip hop music (or something else, not sure what it was, probly never will) and my ears were reeeeaaaally sensitive to it! It hurt soooooo bad that I could barely stand it, I was almost crying. And I was going to yell at them to turn it down, but it hurt to much to talk =[ So I had to wait until it stopped and then they turned it down, but it still really hurt at some of the parts on the music. So yeah, I wasnt feeling good. So I just went home, and I was texting, playing on the computer, and watching American Idol. SO that was my wednesday. It was fun and painful, and what I wanted to do was just get up dance. But if I was dancing, I would probably just ignore all the pain and keep going, and then I would go home and collapse and then I would never be able to dance again because I would be sick all the time. So ya, its good that I just watched. I did wear my ballet stuff underneath so, I kinda felt part of the class. Haha, oh, yeah, some of you might be wondering, why they were playing non-ballet music an ballet class. And its cuz, some of the girls (and the teacher) get really tired and annoyed hearing the ballet music all the time, so we are allowed to bring other cds in to listen to. I actually like the music, and I dont mind listening to it over and over. But its nice to have a change sometimes.

Please comment me!

Love Ya,

~Bethany

HEY ITS HANNAH!

Hey whats up I'm Hannah Bethany's sister. Today she didn't know what to write about so she said I could be her guest blogger and here I am. Yeah I know I'm kinda boring so you might not want to read this. Well actually people say I'm weird not boring, but same difference. I have a random question: What do you think of Elvis Presley and his clothes? Personally I think he is kinda creepy. Anyway I am watching TV right now so I might say "random" things, but I am actually saying it because something on TV reminded me of it. Just a heads up. Well I don't really know what to talk about so I will talk about my day. I had opening number practice for our recital and it was really fun. Oh by the way I just added a new song to the playlist so make sure you listen to it. It is called Let It  Be. It is a really SAD AND COOL song. People are crying on TV singing a song called Alpha and Omega by Israel New Breed. It's really cool because he (Israel) is on his knees on the stage crying. This is pretty cool I wish you guys could see it! I have to go to bed now =[ Well this was fun for me *cough cough* jk it really was =] I hope I can visit again soon *wink wink*

Luv ya! (even if you don't know me!)

Ballet and Rollerskating!

Hey! Sorry that I havent blogged in a while! But I havent really had much to blog about =[ But, now I do because the dreaded, awful, horrifying Break Week is over! Just in case you dont know what break week is, it is when there is NO dance!!! Unless your teacher decides to hold class. But my teacher didnt schedule classes for me, so I was pretty bored =/, but my teacher deserves a break, haha any of my teachers deserve a break to be able to recuperate from my classes craziness! I bet during break weeks they have to get counseling. It wouldnt actually surprise me. Haha. Then on wednesday night I became sick and so on thursday and friday I just stayed in bed and read books all day, I read a total of 16 books! I never thought that I could get tired of reading! But I DID, whenever I would try to read a book after that, the words would just swim in front of my eyes and I wouldnt be able to read it. =[ Well now Break Week is over, so my life is slowly returning back to normal. Well that is what happened over this last few weeks, for those of you who wondered where I had disapeared too. Haha

Ok, so yesterday, I had my first REAL day back at dance and, well I didnt do so well. . . . . tear. . . . . . I think that I worked on fouettes for 45 minutes, and they didnt get much better. That was really discouraging for me. =[ But they will probably (hopefully) be better friday since I am going to work on them more today =]. I think that I was corrected on almost everything that you CAN be corrected on for fouettes! And I was corrected on it multiple times and they STILL werent looking any better. Those fouettes are definitely not my strong points! Oh, goodness as I am writing this all those corrections are floating, no make that banging hammers, in my head. This always happens, all these correction from dance just stay in my head and they just bother me and bother me and bother me, like buzzing flys, or something, in my head! And they stay there til I get it right! And when I get it right, IF I get it right they are still there, but only as reminders, so they are not as annoying as flys. But its really kind of weird walking around with like, bajillions of corrections from everything in my head just reminding me of all the things I cant do yet! And its not just dance (though thats the majority) there is stuff from school, and church, writing class, presentation class, and drama. I dont know why, but I can still remember correction from when I first started ballet, and they still are in my head! Of course I dont usually get those corrections, but they are still in my head, for when I do get them. Ok. . . . I did not really mean to write all of that. . . hmmm. Oh well haha. Here is a picture of me and my friend Andrea from Ballet.

Awww, isnt she pretty!

After ballet on wednesdays I have Bible Study and since it was Spring Break for most of them, we decided to go Rollerskating! Yay! I had only been rollerskating once before, so I was pretty nervous! But I did alright! I think I ran into the SAME little girl twice though! Haha, but that was when I first went on the rink. I was better after that! I was actually pretty fast and I didnt trip that much! I was actually really good at balancing! Surprise! I wasnt a total klutz! Even though I ran into my own share of little kids, I'm sure they'll get over it after a few monthes of counseling. Haha. The whole entire time I had Ana's voice in my head saying "squeeze your butt," "squeeze your stomach," "squeeze everything" "stand up straighter!" See I told you I had all these corrections in my head! But this time they helped! Ok, I admit it they ALWAYS help. So I wasnt a total disgrace at rollerskating! Here are some pics of us at the rollerskating rink. Anna, Jillian, Kelly, and Chelsea

Here is some of the girls eating and talking, I dont think that they EVER stop talking! Kelly and Meg

And here is a pic of Kelly and Meg.Anna

And here is Anna being silly.

Ok, I hope you enjoyed this post and that you come back soon!

And what I just wrote sounded like a flight attendant! Haha. "Thank you for flying with (insert airplane company) , I hope you enjoyed your flight, come visit us again soon on (insert airplane company) ,have a wonderful day."

Oh, and please comment! =]
