Happy New Year + Hairmixer

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! Whew, its 2009!!!!! Hope y'all had a great new Year's Eve; I certainly did! We had a party at our house with the Pursleys, the Griffiths, the Knox's, and the Westalls! It was sooooooo much fun! The parents went crazy dancing etc, while Courtney, Chriss, and I had a blast taking glamor shots of eachother!!!!! It was really cool, cuz we set up a whole like stage to take pics, and we used a hair drier in place of a fan! The pics turned out really good too! Courtney and Claire got to stay overnight also! It was just a really awesome way to kiss the old year goodbye, and welcome in the new year! here are some of the best glamor shots we took:

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Goodnight!

I hope y'all all had a Merry Christmas! I certainly did! We had our grandparents over and it was a total blast! We got up around 7:30am to start opening gifts. I was extremely happy with what I got! But more importantly I enjoyed watched all my sibs open the gifts I got for them! Christmas is my favorite day of the whole year, and not just because of the giving and recieving gifts. ITs just nice to reflect and think about how Jesus was born to save us. It makes me very thankful! Here are some pics of my favorite day:

ok, fine! I will!!!

Since everyone has been nagging at me to do a new christmasy post, (even though there is NOTHING to post about) I will!

ok, something Christmasy, hmmmmm. Well, today our neighbors brought over thier awesomely yummy white chocolate candie-cane cookies! I had 2 already!!! :) Yesterday Christy I went to Marietta with Grandma and Poppa. It was lots of fun, and we went around looking in all the cute shops there. Sry, we didnt get any pics, we were too busy having fun. I'm afraid Poppa didnt have much fun though, since we went into all the girly shops! There is this awesome shop called Go Fish, there. It is full of cute stuff. There is a whole wall devoted to cute earings, and there are 2 big boxes full of braceletes!

I've done a lot of shopping lately (for other people) I've been so busy buying other people cute stuff, that even though there was plenty of stuff I would have liked to buy for me, I feared too much for my budget to spend anything on my self! Haha! The only people I didnt buy for, were Dad and Matt. I never know what to get the guys!

OH NO! Yikes, I just remembered someone REALLY important that I HAVE to buy a gift for!!!! See ya!

Thankgiving break

As some of you know, for Thanksgiving break, we went to Florida to visit our Unlce Ken, Aunt Sue, and our cousins Natalie and Elise.  It was so much fun! The weather was so nice and warm, and it was sunny every day we were there. They live right infront of a lake, so we got to go canoeing almost every day on it! There were lots of blue harrons, and other water birds there. We went swimming at Daytona beach, and Rock Springs while we were there. It was great! On Thanksgiving Aunt Sue and Uncle Ken also had a few other guests for dinner. They are chefs, so the food was excilent! It was so nice, all crowded around the small dining room table, to be thankful for what God has given us. I think it was one of my favorite vacations ever! Here are some pics:

ok, I know I still need to do a post on my vacation, but i just found this statement in an article on line and I just HAD to post it on here!

What would you think of a home that provided no shelter and no privacy? What would you think of a meal that provided no nourishment and no energy? It does not take much to realize that if one were in the business of selling any of these he would go bankrupt very quickly. Yet, amazingly the rules seem to be different when it comes to another basic need: clothing, especially women's clothing. Every year fashion centers in Europe and America come up with the latest designs. And what have they designed? Another way of not covering the body; the dress equivalent of the home that provides no shelter and no privacy.

Haha! I actually found this on an Islamic article, but hey, its still true!

Ok, you prejudices! Dont you think you might want to read Twilight before you judge it so harshly??? If there is one thing I cant stand, its people who judge things by their appreance and never think about actually seeing what they are actually like! So you guys all go home and read Twilight and THEN if you dont like, sham it all you want!

Ok, I just wanted to pot these pics of Robert Pattinson who playes Edward Cullen in twilight and Cerdric Diggory in Harry Potter, so that Eowyn can see why I think he lookes like the first man on earth must have looked like! He is flawless ok! So there! Just tell me if you can find a single flaw in his appearance!!

Reformation Day!

Sry y'all! I know its been a while since I posted last. Well, I will try to make it up now. I find my self quite ill today so no school!

So, for Reformation day I dressed up as Ruth. It was totally fun even if my wig was a bit too big and itchy! As you may have already gotten the low down from my sis or BFF, for Reformation our church had these actors come and act our a play about whats-his-face Tinell. Sry cant remember the name. Anyhoo the guy was kinda supposed to be the story teller and also had the most lines in the play, was TOTALLY AWESOME!! And by awesome I mean really hot and good at acting!! ROFLOL! He really was! I mean seriously his hair was so cute and curly!

Ok moving on from the guy (who by the way i figured out his first name is Eric; I know I'm such a stalker) the rest of the evening was great! I had tons of fun with my sibs and Courtney and Claire.  We helped out by painting kids faces which  was also very fun! There was a costume contest again this year, but none of us won this time. :( We comforted ourselves by the fact that we had won last year. (If you will recall I was a colonial boy) So anyway what better way to end an enjoyable evening with an enjoyable sleepover with Court nad Claire? Thats exactly what we did and it was great to! We went a little crazy on the candy though, and got terrible head-aches in the morning.

15th Birthday

ok, FINALLY I have time for a new entry!

So last Sunday was my 15th birthday! Well...actually it was Monday but I celebrated it on Sunday! Mom let us have Courtney and Claire over to help celebrate after church! I was happy about that! First we had Dinner which consisted of ribs, mashed potatoes and salad. Mmmmmm! Then after we had stuffed ourselves I opened gifts. I got A bracelet, jeans, shirt, gorgous long purple sweater with a square neckline, earings, journal, and a promise to see high school 3 in theaters. Then we had desert which was Chocoltae symphony cheescake. YUM!

Then Court and I enjoyed just hanging out and taking walks most of the day. At evening church we had our first chior preformance. Over all it was a great day! here are some pics:

Chriss's birthday

Last Sunday was my sister Chriss's 13th birthday! We had lots of fun just hanging out and doing sister stuff! We went on a walk to the trail, and we made a few fall decorations. Chriss was very happy with a the girft she got! Here are some pics from this special day:

Fall

Okay, I finished my homework early tonight, so I have time for a new enrty.

As I certainly hope all of y'all know, today is the first day of Fall. I am happy and also slightly devastated. I am happy because fall is one of my favorite seasons. I am devastated because it is already Fall, and it seems like it wasnt that long ago that summer had just started. Well, anyway, I was happy and in a fallish mood thismorning as the weather was very chilly thismorning. I knew because I was standing out at the bus stop in my jean shorts and orange t-shirt that I stole from Katie. But then at lunch brake I lost my enthusiasm when we walked out into the light of a hot sun. So that ruined whole Fall temp. thing.

As one of you know I have just started reading the book Twilight.  Let me tell you that it is the coolest book I have EVER read in my life. I got it at Barnes&Noble on Saturday night while I was on a little girls night out with Courtney and Chriss. I am already almost half-way done with it! I know most of you will be concerned because it is about vampires, but let me assure you that they rae good vampires. They rae vampires that dont want to be what they are, so to keep them from sucking peoples blood, they suck animal's instead. As wonderful, beautiful Edward Cullen says himself, its like going on an "all soy and milk diet", but it is worth it. I would totally recommend this book to anyone!!!!!

This weekend I enjoyed going to what our youth group calls a "Homerun" Its kinda like a bible study where we hang out at a persons home afterchurch and have dinner and a lesson. This week we went to the coopers house. (Really rich people) It was so much! I had forgotten what a blessing christian friends are until I hung around them for an evening. The lesson was on being equally yoked. When I look at the people at my school, and then the people at my church, the difference is so dramatic.

Yesterday was kinda rough for me at school. It was a Monday, so I was exhausted and being around so many nonbelieves made me depressed! I'm good today, but somedays its just hard to see the light, in a place so full of darkness. I have a huge cell project due today in Biology so please pray for me! Thx!
