yeah, it was! Today was the Grand Opening of "Mission Aviation Fellowship"(MAF)(see maf.org) so, the day started out fairly normal, I felt quite a bit better today, still a little stuffed up but not nearly as bad!
Dad went and picked up Mary at work, then came home and we went to the MAF Grand Opening at the Nampa Airport. It was great! I'll tell you a bit of what it was like... (I may post a picture of the layout paper they gave us later) First we went in the front door, got to the opening desk and signed our names in for a drawing they had(hey, what to lose?) and then grabbed a couple pamplets and went on. Here's a cool part... At the mission Aviation, in the main part, they have(what seemed to be) the actual airplane that Nate Saint, John Elliot and all of them flew in! They uncovered it a couple years ago! That was cool, they didn't have the wings but there was quite a bit there. Anyways, that was cool. Then we headed on up the hall and went in to the main seminar room, not much to see there, but it looked good. Then we went outside and talked to the publisher of the "treasure valler christian news", he was talking about how we should buy out the Idaho statesman and just publish christian news(it would be cool if it ever happened). Then Mary and I left Dad and him to talk. Oh yeah, when we were talking to Anthony(the publisher), Sarah came up behind me and pked me in the back, so, Isaac and Sarah had arrived! anyways, then we headed over to the hanger and checked out the airplanes! There was TONS of people there, seriously! But yeah, we had to go through a line to get in to the hanger(which we found out was a food line). We just got out of it and headed over to the airplanes they were showing off. They were giving out airplane rides but they were extreemly booked! But anyways, we checked out the airplanes, watched some take-offs and then went upstairs and checked out the stuff up there, then went around doing miscellanious watching, then Mary and Dad decided they wanted some food(I haven't been hungry since I got sick and I haven't been eating hardly anything :|) So they went and got some food while I went and watched the movie and checked out the advocate wing. Then I went back and Told Mary there was a spot we'd missed so, we went over there and talked to the lady. It turns out she'd lived in various points of Africa. I think she said Congo, Kenya and Madagascar. We asked her about setting up missions over there and she said the easiest spots would be Kenya(because lots of missionaries base out of kenya) and South Africa! She also said that, SA was one of the most like america countries she'd ever seen. Sooo yeah, that was cool. Then we headed over to the Learning Technologies and Talked with a few of the people there! The one Lady name Carolyn Baily(we think she might be related :P) was really impressed with Mary and I's computer knowledge :}, we talked to her like a half hour, then we decided we should go get Dad cuz he hadn't seen this part yet! We went and got him, and he talked with the lady and we got some free cd's and brochures and stuff(which have some cool stuff on them!), one of the CD's is a sample CD of all their learning tech, and it also includes a bible study tool ith about 20 different translations/versions over the bible! This is all free stuff too and not copyrighted so they said we can copy it and send it to people if we want. Anyways, we checked out all their computer stuff, then we went over to the advocate center. The advocate center didn't have much in it, but there were some interesting people there :). all throughout the day, they/d shift who's watching what and stuff like that. So this time in the advocate center, we talked to this guy named Jim. He and Dad talked about all sorts of cool inventions and stuff(this kind of talk is really interesting to hear ;) ) Then we decided it was time to go. we gave some of them our e-mails and stuff too so, I'm signed up for their mailing list thing and Dad is gonna get sent some stuff from Jim. So, we made some good contacts there. It's pretty cool. Most of them seemed like they were good, conservative christians, and their systems were so good that it even impressed Dad(he said later that they were using some really top of the line systems). So, it was great! The study tool seems to be pretty good so far so yeah! it's cool. That was most of my day! seeya!

Wowie! Sweetness! I have thought of joining MAF maybe, since I'm in to aviation (mostly helicopters). Sounds like you guys had some fun! I'd have had a ride even if the line was 5 hours long, since I have never ridden in an aircraft.
