He is Risen!

Apr. 8, 2007

Happy Day to you all! Whether it's Easter, Ressurection Sunday, Passover or just a day, He is risen! Night before last I finished Genesis, so I thought I might as well go and read the last two chapters of Luke. It really made today seem special :). the tomb is empty, Jesus is risen. Ya know, something that just occurred to me... most of the disciples didn't see Jesus until the day after easter! interesting thought... Anyways I'll tell ya about what happened this mornin:

This morning I was awakened by Rebecca stating there was what I heard as "a holstein cat" outside that needed brought in; "what in the world do I need to bring in a cat for???" I wondered. But then, as I climbed down the stairs on my hands and knees, it occurred to me.... err wait, I didn't climb down the stairs on my hands and knees! lol!
*ahem* after I had gone down two flights of stairs to arrive at the downstairs, It finally became clear to me that "No, not cat! CALF!!!!!!" And sure enough, walk out to the road and there was a new-born calf. So I ran over there and picked it up
Well, I went over there, half asleep and just sorta blankly stared at it for a while... Then finally I picked it up and boy was it heavy! I moved it over vloser to the gate and set it down(it can walk btw, as you will soon notice). And then, we somehow brought it inside the gate and tried to get it to lie down, but it didn't wanna, so after a while, it just ran under a tree that was shelter enough and we decided it was good there. Rebecca gave it some instant milk stuff to hold it over till we can find the owner... I may post pics :P.
And then I came inside and took off my coat and shoes, then I thought to myself "why doncha go get some pics?" so I did, I put on my shoes again and went out there and took pics. Only a few mind you, and they weren't any good either.

And anyways, After that, I came inside and Rachel was just getting up and so I told her about the visitor. And she was surprised as well and looked out the window. Then we all just sorta shrugged it off and went off to do our own thing. And so, before I got on the computer, I proceeded to flip the bottons on my accordion case, open it, pick up my accordion, put it on, sit on the couch and play:

LOW IN THE GRAVE HE LAY

Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!

Refrain

Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus my Savior;
Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!

Refrain

Death cannot keep its Prey, Jesus my Savior;
He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!

Refrain

Have a wonderful day all!
