Nov. 28, 2008 My 10th Birthday yesterday!!
Yesterday was my tenth birthday! My friends Amy, Suzanna, and Claudia and Katie with Amy's little sisters and brother came over. My brothers friends came over as well. My brothers made a cake and stayed up past 11:00! This is what I got from my family.
This is my birthday cake my brother made by themselfs. The cream looking stuff is marzipan. The teeth and eye was mini marshmallows.

From Claudia I got "Mary Jones and her Bible" and "Peter joins in".We all had a really yummy tea!!!
Suzanna gave me a watch that had a ribbon on it and I can change it to any of the other ribbons that came with it.
 That is my little brother!

Hi every one! Thank you very much for all the comments and for waiting ever so patiently for me to post my journal here. Well, I am in the middle of posting it in one big post. So... just wait a few more days or so. There will be lots of photos too. So please wait till it is finished!  It will get done some time this year...

Hi every one! I hope to do a lot more blogging now that we are home. How is every one?
Thank you every one who left me comments !
I will visit every ones blog now and leave a comments, if any one has any questions about our trip to the USA please ask - I would be happy to answer them.  I will post some photos tomorrow if I can.

May. 7, 2008 Creation Museum!
Yesterday we went to the Creation Museum! It was so great that I can't describe it properly. And it was so fun! We all went in the car for one hour and roughly 6 minutes to get in to Kentucky from the Motorway/Highway. When we got to the Information and paying desk, the woman there gave Caleb and me Treasure hunt pieces of paper. Ariel didn't do it the hunt. The hunt was that you have to spot things around the Museum and then cross it out. Things to hunt like this: 'Find a metel mailbox in the so and so room.' Or like 'Find 1 T-rex outside the Museum somewere.'
It says at the bottom of the paper that if you find all the things that it says on the paper and hand it in the the Information desk, then you get a prize. I found all of them then so did Caleb. There prize was a little card about Creation and dinosaurs. We walked through the whole Museum! There was lots of things to see! There was also model dinosaurs that moved there heads and tail. There was also Adam and Eve that moved as well. At the entrance hall the was a huge big thank that was filled with water up to my waist and was nice and deep for the live turtles and fishes. Caleb put in his finger in the water and wiggled his finger to make it look like a worm and a fish came up and bit him! He said it didn't hurt though. There was a real tree that comes from under the water then fake ones. There were model dinosaurs with signs beside them to tell you what kind they where. We queued up to go to the Planiterian. It is all about he Universe and Galaxy's amd the stars and how many degrees some planets are, and miles and everything about space.The Movie was up on the rook and you had to lean back on you seat to see it. There were so many fossils that were amazing. There were fossilized Dinosaurs eggs that were from the flood.

May. 2, 2008 Show & Tell Boonshoft Museum
This week we went to the childrens museum in Dayton. It was really great fun. I liked the engineering part and seeing the animals. We got to feel starfish and sea creatures. We have a museum pass which is great. Yesterday I was really sick but today I feel a bit better. Later on we are going to go climbing and maybe swimming at the YMCA.

Apr. 30, 2008 House swapping
I am in Ohio. Today the Vollmar's left to go to our house in Ireland. (The Vollmar's are the people we are swapping with). There are also 2 cats. One is gray and white. He is called Bond. Then there is a grey-brown stripy cat called Sqeaky. Elijah really likes him! He goes around the house going, "Weaky! Weaky!" He chases him all around the house. Around the the brook at the bottom of the Garden, there is so many fossils! Shells and little snails shells and stuff. Oh, and last night we had a party! Nearly all the neighbors came over. We had lot's of fun! There is this boy called Adam and he is very friendly. He said he has lots and lot's of fossils at his house and he brought some and he has a piece of corral that he found with a fossil and let us keep one that had some sort of sea weed fossil too. We had fun playing with him and we explored around the forest with him. Oh, I almost forgot! Ariel saw a black snake that was under a rock. Adam said is was a corn snake. It was just a baby one though. Ariel picked it up. It was cold and then when he picked it up it leapted out of his hand because it had just warmed up. Adam picked it up and it tried to bite him. So he put it in a container and we took pictures of it.

Hi! I haven't been on the computer for a long time! This is what we did on the first day.
Well, first of all we drove to Dublin for 2 hours. Then we loaded on the plane and it took 6 hours! It was so long. Then we arrived in America! Then there was this bus that drove us to another airport. Our plane that we went on was called ''Are Lingus". Someone was supposed to meet us from the van hire company. We waited for ages!!!! Then we went on a bus to go to the car hire called Avis. So we hired a eight seater car that just fits our family! We drove for a long time and arrived at a cabin call Seven Bends Lode. It was very nice little cabin. While we were there, we went fishing! We caught 2 fish! One was very big! Caleb's was a small bass.
Well is all for one day! I will try and write every day!

Apr. 20, 2008 Holiday to USA!
We are going to American in 2 days! I am so excited and can't wait! This will probably be the last time I will be on the computer for a while because we have to tidy up a lot. We are doing house swaping with some other people from America. They will say at our house and we will go to there house. We are saying there for 5 weeks!

Apr. 18, 2008 At last an final update of show 'n tell!
Here is my show and tell. A few weeks ago I sewed a horse pillow for my bed. It didn't take long and I got it all sewed in an hour. It came as a kit and I cut the strip to sew on the back later.

Yesterady it was our mums birthday! I made Mum a banana and caremel pie.  But while it was coming out of the tin, it went all over the plates. This is what mum got for her birthday:
A big bar of coconut and banana saop.
A crock pot (which is a slow cooker)
truffle chocolate.
another bar of some sort of chocolate.
some special tea.

And my two brothers went shopping and got mum two frogs. One was for flowers to go in and the other one to make the garden looks nice.

This post is written by Beth's Mum. Earlier today my nine year old daughter was upset by the person who left made reference to her as a 'stupid lady' in a comment on her last post. She is she a bright, happy and friendly child, who enjoys being here - this is where she 'meets' friends and she usually loves receiving comments.
It is easier for an adult to hit delete and treat such with the contempt it deserves but somewhat more difficult for a child who expects good in everyone, to understand.
Please stay away. It is cowardly to leave comments that cannot be linked back and reported.

Apr. 4, 2008 Show and tell firday
Hi! Yesterday me and my friend made felt and my mum has 3 books how to make: slippers, hats, clothes, hand-bags, and loads more. I made this yesterday.
First I laid strips of the wool one way then put across way. Then I put some hot bubbly water on it the put the bubble-wrap over on it and rubbed for 10 minutes and did 2 more layers. And last night when I was in bed, Mum made a slipper. but in the morning when she tried it on Enoch, it didn't fit. Anyway, here is a picture of it. She only made one then. Oh, and today she made a pair for Elijah. When the first slipper was finished, Elijah didn't want it taken it off!
