*I will remember them no more* devotionalGood afternoon,I got back from my Sunday worship service and thought that I would share some of the highlights from the service. When we say I forgive you, do we really mean it? If we say I forgive you and bring the subject up again in the future, then we truly haven't forgiven that person. Jesus said in Isaiah 43:25: 25 "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. That means that if you truly ask for forgiveness for the depths for your heart, the Lord will not only forgive you but remember that transgression no more. In Heb. 8:12 it says the same thing, "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." The same for Heb. 10:17: "Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." Mercy. That is mercy. In Psalm 103:12 it says: "as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." We need to forgive one another as Christ forgives us. What a wonderful thought! This will be my last post for a few months. School resumes tomorrow and I need to focus on my education. God Bless and have a blessed 2009, Matt 1:23 PM - Jan. 4, 2009 - comments {1} - post commentNew YearWell it's a few more minutes to the new year!! Hope you had a great 2008. God bless, Matt 10:25 AM - Dec. 25, 2008 - comments {1} - post commentThe true meaning....We as Christians often get wrapped up in the Christmas season do we not? We tend to loose focus. He came to pay our penalty. He was born some 2000 years ago. He reigns victorious over sin. Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas Eve and Day!!Matt 8:51 AM - Dec. 24, 2008 - comments {2} - post commentIndescribableHe is truly indescribable! I think that we has a Christian society we under estimate Him and His awesome and great power. He knew us before the universe, before the dawn of time. The price He paid was once and for all, contrary to what some believe. We are preserved in Him and Him alone. He efficaciously called us unto Himself. We were totally depraved because of the fall, dead, blind to the Gospel till the Lord calls him, if He so chooses to call him.God Bless, Matt From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea Creation's revealing Your majesty From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring Every creature unique in the song that it sings All exclaiming Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God All powerful, untameable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night None can fathom Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name You are amazing God All powerful, untameable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God You are amazing God Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God All powerful, untameable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God Incomparable, unchangeable You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same You are amazing God You are amazing God 2:49 PM - Dec. 22, 2008 - comments {1} - post comment
