Impossibly Busy!
The past few weeks have been so busy! I've wanted to blog sooner, I really have,
but somehow, it always got pushed to the back of my "To-Do" list. Last week was spent preparing for the Vacation Bible School at our church, and this week was spent actually . . . doing it. I was an assistant teacher, and worked with a couple of my friends; we had a blast! The lesson we taught was on Creation, so one of the rooms we were in had all six days of creation shown on the walls. It's quite elaborate, and took about a week to put together. (Hopefully, I'll be able to post some pictures later.) It took hours and hours of work . . . and staples, staples, and more staples! Last night, when we took everything down, the other assistant teacher and I decided that the head teacher needed to go on the 10-step program for staple addiction, and that we needed counseling for excess staple removal.
Yes, there were really that many. Oh, and there was also the water balloon incident. Last night, we decided that we needed to use all of our balloons . . .so we filled 'em all up, and had about six buckets full. Some of us got soaked. Those of us who could run quickly didn't.
(Guess which group I was in!)Well, in spite of being so busy, I think that's all I have to write about. Maybe I'll be able to write sooner next time. (And I thought I would have more time when school was out! Naive me.)
