Tonight we're having company for dinner. A couple just a few years older than us is coming over! We'll have four cheese lasagna, salad, sourdough bread and blueberry bars. These friends invited us over for dinner a few months ago and we had a grand time.

I bought some new dishes yesterday so we could have a set of dishes that aren't chipped! I was amazed that some of the dishes had warnings on the shelf. The stoneware dishes apparently have lead in their process somewhere and you can be exposed to lead, I guess. By passed those and bought the Corelle Ware even though I hate the way they shatter when they break. Our new dishes are tan with sage green and darker tan leaf pattern. It's called Textured Leaves.
