A few weeks ago I mentioned having dinner guests over. We had a great time with four cheese lasagna, salad, bread & blueberry bars. Afterwards we had a bocce ball game. So they beat us. (I don't know how that happened. )

We go to church on Sunday and I sit next to Dianna. She hands me a bulletin saying she had an extrea. I thanked her and settled in to get ready for our Sunday School lesson., placing the bulletin in my bible to look at later.

Apparently after Sunday School she spots Steve (he teaches 3-5 graders so he's not with me in SS) and hands him a bulletin. Having seven of our children there he didn't have time to look in his bulletin and placed it in his bible. We have greeting time and she mentions to us how much stuff there is in the bulletin. We still didn't get it so she told Steve to look in his bulletin.

 OH MY GOODNESS!!! They made up a flyer on photo paper as though it were an article from The New York Times! The title reads "Team "Benson" DOMINATES Grieshaber's in International "Boccie Ball" Championship! Under this title is a picture of President Bush and Jerry our friend (he superimposed his head on another picture) pointing his finger at Jerry and President Bush is saying, "You're the man!" When runner-up Steve Grieshaber was asked to comment on the grueling match his reply was: "The Benson's are just plalin unbeatable. No one in the world is playing at their level."

Then below that is a picture of Jerry and his wife Dianna with Jerry kissing this HUGE trophy (he used to race motorcycles and had one from winning) and Dianna says, "I don't know where we'll put another trophy!"

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? We thought that was the funniest thing we'd seen in a long time. I think it might have made our whole year.
