Mother's Day

My two boys aged nine and ten brought me breakfast in bed! Bright and early at 6:30am. They brought me scrambled eggs, buttered toast, apple slices, two bananas, a hot cup of English Breakfast Tea and a glass of oj. They stood there to make sure I liked it.

Just before we left for church Steve called the five kids that were home into our room and gave me my gifts. I received two cards, a gold bracelet with diamond x's representing kisses from The Danbury Mint and Angel perfume (Steve's favorite! I've been out for about a month now.)

Went to church and after SS saw Jake and he presented me with a dozen yellow roses in a beautiful vase and a card. We enjoyed Jesse playing keyboard on stage with the worship team.

After church we came home and I found a tulip plant on the front porch with a card from Jared. I came in and relaxed for a few minutes, as much as a girl can relax with her mil coming over.   Jesse gave me a card with a gift certificate for a pedicure. What he didn't know is that it's with my favorite nail lady!! WooHoo!!! I've been thinking I should get a pedicure-now I can!!  Sarah made the garlic butter sauce for the mushrooms, boiled the potatoes, buttered the bread and set the table. Steve bbq'd the ribs and Jesse went to pick up grandma some twenty-five miles away. We had chocolate cake afterwards and then went outside to play Boccie Ball while grandma watched.

Now we're getting ready to go read the paper and watch A Beautiful Mind.

Oh! The Homeschool curriculum fair we went to this weekend was EXCELLENT!!! I'll share more tomorrow!!

I'm so glad your family spoiled you on Mother's day. Home school mothers do so deserve pampering. Have a great day.
