Oh my goodness!!! So much going on!
Next Sunday our VBS is starting. My husband is in charge of teaching the elementary aged children. Yesterday he found out that he was on his own in the area of decorating his room. Gulp! We now have to come up with a treasure chest with treasures, beach items and a sign. Gulp! Okay-I can do that.
I'm last-minute planning my future dil's wedding shower for July 23. Went out and bought the invitations yesterday, filled them out and now need to mail them. Went online and found downloadable bridal shower games. We at least have almost two weeks for that.
I have a Math test this week and I need to study, study, study. I also have a Narrative Essay due. I can do this. (Yeah right!)
I need to contact CityMax and let them know how we want our web store to look. (That's at least a half-hour phone call. I'll need to put on a REALLY good movie for the boys.)
I need to prepare my SS lesson for next Sunday. It's on Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. I am learning SO MUCH by teaching this summer. Yesterday we made Arks of the Covenant with instructions from www.daniellesplace.com. I went to the local craft store and bought some gold truffle boxes and gold spray paint. I had popsicle sticks so we spray painted those and the little angels. The kids didn't really understand what the Ark of the Covenant was but it might be something that causes their parents to look up at home.
My 16, 14 and 10 year olds are at Hume Lake, Ca., for a week at camp. I've heard it's the Creme' De La Creme of camps. My ten year old was scared and excited all in one. I told him not to miss me but to enjoy his time, he'll be with me the rest of his life, he'll only be at this camp when he's ten-once.
I'm also relisting all my ebay items and need to load up more inventory that I don't even have up yet. We have Your Story Hour, Castleberry Press and No Greater Joy items that need to get listed.
I've been buying A Beka curriculum on Ebay and I need to lesson plan for next year. I also need to do this last semester's grades.
Life is NEVER dull. Who said housewifes sit around all day and watch soaps while eating bon-bons?
