Blessed Woman

Our oldest son is married!

Our oldest son was married on Saturday. It was a beautiful ceremony and went off without any problems. He wore a black tux with a white vest and white tie. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous. The bridesmaids wore lavender dresses, and the groomsmen wore black tuxes with lavender vests and lavender ties. My little guys wore long-sleeved lavender dress shirts combined with black dress pants. Steve also wore a tux and I wore a black skirt set with a lavender/mauvish floral design. Jake and Jesse were groomsmen. Sarah was a bridesmaid and Joe was the ring-bearer. They were married at the lake.

Their reception was at the _____. We had a fantastic Italian meal. The cheesy shells were so yummy! Dancing followed soon after. We had the best time! I danced a mother/son dance with Jared, danced with my little nieces, my husband, my sons, and my daughter and her friend, and anyone else who was crazy enough to be near me.

Bride's dad came to me and Steve after the reception and thanked us for our son, and all he's done for her.

Our son has called us twice now since Saturday. They're near Vegas at her grandma's timeshare and said it was just beautiful. They're headed to Utah after that.

O how wonderful!! I am so happy for ALL of you. It is amazing to think that one day...not so long ago....he was a kid without a driver's license riding in my car with me to show me where you lived. Now he is a man, and the head of a home. May God bless their marriage abundantly. BTW.....who married them?
