Today finds me with a flurry of activities to conquer. I have thirteen Biblical Family orders to package and mail. A birthday party trip to McDonald's and to see Flushed Away. Then we are going to La Pinata in Old Town San Diego to meet family for dinner.
Tomorrow we go camping until Sunday. I must grocery shop for our portion of the Thanksgiving dinner. We are camping with another family and will combine our efforts. I will need to package up the other fourteen Biblical Family orders and ready them for mailing. Our toy hauler needs my attention since we are camping in it. And best of all!!!! Tuesday is my baby's sixth birthday!!! It's hard to imagine that my youngest is six. God truly is in charge of the womb.
Last night we had our Thanksgiving service at church. As I went out to my car to retrieve the frozen turkeys we had brought for Thanksgiving boxes for needy families and our Operation Christmas Child boxes, I was walking and playing with my fifteen year old daughter. She playfully kicked me sideways in the behind, so I playfully kicked her back. We kicked back and forth a few times until our legs locked!! NO!!!! I fell on my knees in my skirt on the dirt. (HAHAHA!!!) Sarah fell on top of me. We were laughing hysterically. People came running as they saw me on the ground, but when they saw I was laughing they started laughing too. I did this right in front of our pastor's son and the youth pastor, and several other good friends. My knee is now scuffed up, I was told I shouldn't do such things at my age, (I don't listen to the naysayers!!), and to go clean myself up since I had dirt all over my black skirt. And Steve? He was just sorry he missed the whole thing. He wished he could of seen it instead of just a scuffed up knee.
If I don't get back on I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. I know I will!
