I'm a "liberated" woman, so I can't say I really understand that, but I also believe in live and let live! If that's what makes them happy. To me, the thought of my sole purpose being a breeder makes me want to "quiver." :)

mrsmaintenance: Thank you for visiting my blog! To those who have not been convicted to surrender all to the Lord, it is hard to understand this lifestyle at all. It's not about breeding it's about surrender and obedience, allowing the Lord to decide the perfect number of children for a family. For now, the Lord has decided that our perfect number is eight and that's great! I'm glad I didn't try to figure it out!
Have a great Thanksgiving!!

P.S. I did go to your blog and read your Bratz entry. I'm glad I have a daughter, she has brought such joy into my life, different than my seven sons. She has never been interested in Bratz or any of the other types of dolls. It all comes from teaching them when they're little what's acceptable. Don't let them wear at two what you won't let them wear at sixteen. (That was a wise saying from my friend/mentor Helen Aardsma of Mother's Companion).

Daily life with the blessings in my life: A Savior, one husband, seven boys, three lovely daughters, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and waiting for two little ones from Ethiopia.
Nov. 21, 2006 - I read an article about that...
