Are you feeling the frantic busyness of the season? I am! I think we finished up our Christmas shopping the other night. I need to check my list to make sure. No matter how I try to make it a nice Christmas seems I seem to disappoint someone sometime. My two oldest boys love to retell the story when they received books and puzzles for Christmas and not all the "cool" stuff. Hey! We're home schoolers!! Why wouldn't you want a book for Christmas?!

I found some cool crafts to do with the boys on www.daniellesplace.com. I'm a member but it has been well worth the $20 it cost to join. They have lots of Christian Christmas crafts. I think we'll do them tomorrow afternoon. We still need to bake our goodies. Requests for my sugar cookies are coming in loud and clear! I did finish the bulk of my grocery store shopping yesterday. I think all we'll need is ice and maybe some English Breakfast Tea for me. I have one box left. Horrors!!! What if I want a hot cup of tea with my sugar cookie?!! A girl does have her priorities!

We sent in our application fee for Christian World Adoption-Guatemala program. IWe need to sign the paperwork and send in more funds to actually contract with them. Here we go!!! We're still pulling paperwork together for our Home Study.

I was just blessed with a big kiss from my 6yob. He just woke up and came to give mom some love. I love my boys. They're the best! I bought us a new Trouble game and Joel beat me last night. He's our little game player, and hates, hates, hates it when he loses. I teach him that part of playing is losing, and if he can't lose graciously we can't play. He comes around and we continue and then he'll beat the pants off me.
