Today has been a wonderful day! We did school all morning, then John and Joe had violin lessons. We all went so we could go to the mall and the grocery store. Got to the mall, got them settled in McDonalds and then I went to Yankee Candle and bought Steve a candle and I bought one for myself. I asked the salesgirl if they had any for men and she directed me to one called Midsummer's Dream (I think it is.) She said it smelled like Jakkar, the men's cologne.
I then went to See's and bought candy for all the kids and my husband. The youngest four boys and Jesse got a heart shaped box with a dog/cat on the front. I bought a special heart shaped custom filled box for Steve and one for Sarah, then I bought Jared & Jake a 1lb box each of mixed chocolates. Sarah was so gracious to keep the boys out of the store as it was PACKED.
We then went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and I bought four different types of bubble bath for Steve; Juniper Berry, Fresh Vanilla, Cucumber Melon, Citrus Mango. We meandered over to Walmart where I shopped for groceries. I was able to get most of what I needed for dinner but did stop at the grocery store for hamburger and Mozzarella cheese. Sarah went in and got us girls some Star Buck frappacino's.
Took the candy over to the guy's house and gave Miranda a bouquet of flowers. She blew me a kiss from the balcony. Went home and made Four Cheese Lasagna, Jesse made a salad, Joe made chocolate cupcakes and I frosted, Sarah buttered the breads and stuck them in the oven, James set the table, and Steve did dishes.
My older two boys were able to make it to dinner at the last minute. I just invited them this afternoon so that was a nice surprise! Jared's fiance had to work tonight and Jake wanted to save money so he brought Eryn over here.
Everyone's now gone and the younger boys are watching Leave It To Beaver. Life is good. Oh! Steve brought me home a dozen red roses and gave Sarah a heart necklace like the one he gave me last week. It's gold with a dozen red rubies. We're soooooo spoiled! I love it!
