I like the fudge one, in my house I would be the nut. Funny you should post about ebay, I just did too, about something different though.

Mar. 8, 2006 - And They're HomeSchool-made!

Cool coincidence! I happen to know that the family that makes these signs homeschool their children, and three of the children help make the signs. In fact, the business was started to give the kids a way to learn to work, and to earn money. Shelley, the mom, is quite the industrious and wonderful woman. Oh, btw, she's my wife, and I may be biased....

Her new website is www.stencilshoppe.com, in addition to the ebay store.

Cheers!

How cool is that? Homeschoolers to boot? I've been looking around my house and thinking where a sign could go and in what color. Thanks for the link!!

Mar. 21, 2006 - Hello!

You're funny! I found you from doing a random blog. I'm glad I did and I'm going to add you to my friend's list.

I found a sign that I may go back and get. It reads something like this, "You have two choices for dinner: take it or leave it". Isn't that great? I'm sure with eight children you must abide by that or you'll be cooking way too many things.

Your previous post cracked me up. I have four children, but they are boy9, girl7, boy3 and boy-2months. The 9 and 7 year old bicker like crazy, but are best friends when they aren't. When they are though it drives me up the wall. The 3 year old thinks he owns the planet which leads him to believe he has the right to destroy it the way he does. But he is very sweet much of the time, too. I cannot imagine life with 8 children. Of course I would love all of them dearly, but after this fourth one I felt a nice peace about saying, "Absolutely no more!!!"

Thanks Jenn!

Yes, that's a great sign. I have one I bought from a catalog that hangs in our room. It says, "Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be." We've been married twenty-five years so it seemed fitting.

I at one time only wanted two until my friend Helen taught me about the quiverfull lifestyle. With my pregnancy five years ago, I marched out to the yard where my husband was doing yard work and announced to my husband, "I can't do this anymore!" He said, "Who are you telling, me or God?" I said, "Whoever is listening." Unfortunately, I think my words have come back to haunt me as my last two pregnancies had ended in miscarriage. I would LOVE ten more but am content with my eight.
