To my fellow Americans,
I participated in one of the most patriotic acts in America for the first time today. I voted. I voted for John McCain to be our next Commander-In-Chief. I voted against Socialism.
There are plenty of reasons why I did not vote for Barack Hussein Obama today... Some reasons being:
1. He did not support the Infants Born Alive Protection act.
2. He may not even be a natural born citizen.
3. He has ties with Louis Farrakhan and Reverend James Wright, Muslim leaders, Pro-Palestinian organizations and Anti-Semites.
There are more reasons to list why I did not vote for Obama. Although, I am not a one issue voter, but this fact forced me to keep my vote from Barack Hussein Obama. The worst fact of all about this candidate is, that Obama is an outright Socialist, who believes in "Redistributing wealth" and supports other Socialistic ideologies, and has the support of Socialist leaders.
Socialism strips you of all rights as an individual citizen. Read a book about Soviet Russia, this is what happens when Socialism creeps into a country. Socialism takes your right to freedom of speech away (Unless you agree with the Fuhrer). Supposedly, these are rights that Liberals are always "trumpeting", but they are shooting themselves in the foot by voting for a man who is in favor of taking away their wealth and their rights as an individual citizen so they can participate in "The Greater Good". (The greater good being by way of wealth redistribution, bitterness towards the wealthy and fairness doctrine.)
Open up a history book and see what the most famous Socialists have done in history. Look at what Hitler, Marx, Stalin, Castro and Chavez have done and believed in, my friends. Socialism breeds hate, poverty and suppression of basic human rights. Look at China, look at Cuba.
Why do you think Cubans are constantly trying to escape from Cuba? If communism and socialism breed such perfect utopias, why are Cubans risking their lives to flee from it?
Man cannot create a perfect world. We cannot create a perfect country by simple "charities" and "love" apart from Jesus Christ our Lord. Socialism suggests that by helping the downtrodden and bringing down the wealthy, and giving a hand out to everyone who asks, we may create a perfect Utopian society without God's help. This is not so. History has proven it to be.
The Third Reich was far from a utopia. It was Hell on earth for those who were did not support the Nazis or Hitler. The Soviet Union suppressed freedom of expression in the arts and basic human rights. China has stripped basic human rights from its people by not even letting the Lord chose how many children their people may have.
Socialism is not the change we need. Living for our country only is not the purpose we were made for. Our lives are meant for more than America and simply contributing to society. Do not let yourself be fooled - Freedom is one of the most precious gifts offered in America, and when that is taken away, the only way it can be bought back is by the blood of the brave and noble... That is how you and I are free today. By the blood of another... By Americans before us and by Jesus Christ.
And there's my two cents.
Love to my fellow Americans from,
The Socialism Hating American Girl

Obama Is Not Qualified To Be President
Posted By

But not on grounds of experience (Which is debatable, BUT...) or his stand on the issues or even his connections.
It's all on one "minor" detail that has been hidden for over 20 months.
If he's a natural born citizen - Then why hasn't he produced a birth certificate? Why won't he release his medical records? Why won't he release his college records?
Now I'm beginning to understand why they called that one show on Style "Whos wedding is it anyway?" It seems as if the entire family here has jumped into "MASSIVE WEDDING PLANNING" mode, especially the mothers around here! Theres still a huge laundry list of things that need to be done...
X-All of the bridesmaid dresses need to be sewed properly and hemmed and so on and so forth. (Overall, four dresses!)
X-The brides' dress needs minor adjustments made to it
X-The cake needs decorated and assembled.
X-The programs need printed.
X-Camera cards need cleaned off and batteries charged.
X-My hair and my mothers' hair needs a test run.
X-My mom and my sister need their hair fixed up
X-I need to iron out the piano peice for the wedding (Argh!)
X-Limo contract needs to be signed.
X-Over 20 Songs need downloaded for the reception.
And most of these things need to be done by THURSDAY! And let me tell you, people, Cassandra and Chris's cake is no rinky dinky little cake! It's a massive four tier cake and two sattelite cakes! Oh boy... The drama ensues! Not to mention, the bridesmaids and I are still trying to plan a little get together for my sister (The bride). Sheesh! Lord willing, everything will go according to plan...
So I'll make this quick... We've been preparing for my sisters' wedding the past few weeks... From August 3rd-9th I was in Charlotte, NC, for National Fine Arts... Sonshinefest was July 20th, we ahd a fun time, until it downpoured, ha! My mom made a cake for someones wedding... I had to help serve spaghetti at the Fine Arts auction... And of course, there was my sisters' bridal shower. My friend of many years graduated in June (Yeah I'm going kind of backwards here...), we enjoyed yucky weather for the fourth, we had our patriotic festival, and there was also the Fine Arts coffeehouse... and of course our very first homeschool co-op social. So, yep, inbetween were sleepovers with my gal friends, swimming and lots of tanning. :)
Full summer! I wish I had time to post photos and even videos of all the madness, but I'll get to it when I have more time for the computer.
Wait! Don't give up on me ever posting again! I apologize for giving ya'll such deep news about Travis last time (3 whole months ago), and then practically falling off the face of the planet. Our life has had so many, many, MANY things going on this year that I can literally barely keep up. I do want to share the tremendous news that we have concerning my hubby, even though it's a little late in coming.
After the overwhelming and semi-scary diagnosis of an immune disorder, God sent us the PERFECT doctor for Travis. At long last, we were able to sit down with an allergist/immunologist who looked at ALL of Travis' health history and was able to see the whole picture. He had no doubt that all of Travis' problems were a direct result of a severe allergy to something that triggered an acute case of adult onset asthma. Going without a diagnosis on this type of thing for so many months had only made everything worse, causing more and more problems. Yes, he did have low IGG levels, which means his immune system was having some difficulty, but this doctor assured us it was totally within normal limits and that with the right type of focused asthma and allergy treatment, Travis would be able to bounce back without having to go through the costly and extremely complicated IVIG infusions.
That was six weeks ago, and praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow, Travis is now almost completely back to normal! Whatever special combination of asthma/allergy medications and treatments that this new doctor gave Travis finally did the trick. Just two weeks after the initial consultation with this allergist, Travis told me he actually felt like SUPERMAN! Can you believe that? I nearly wept for joy when he told me that because it had simply been ages since my baby had felt healthy, let alone like a super hero!
Travis continues to improve, with only relatively small set backs along the way. The adjustments now are coming because he is learning to live with asthma. He was able to go back to work a week ago and he seems to be right back into the swing of things. He even finished up another college semester with three more A's under his belt!
We truly feel that it is GOD who has done a tremendous work in Travis' health and we give HIM the praise for everything that has happened in our lives these last six months. We also cannot tell you how much everyone's sweet prayers and encouragement have meant to us. The love we have experienced from the calls, notes, gifts, comments, etc., have utterly overwhelmed our hearts.
This has definitely been a journey of faith, trust, patience and seeking the Lord's face like nothing we have ever experienced before. I cannot begin to explain how many times our prayers have been directly answered as the Lord has provided for us in ways we never thought possible. It is amazing how our family has been strengthened through all of this, as well as our faith in our most gracious heavenly Father. Of course, our journey of faith is not complete, and will not end until we at last meet our Lord face to face, but this one stepping stone along the way has taught us so very, very much. There is still a great for us to learn (and most definitely re-learn!), but our gracious Heavenly Father has most certainly revealed His love and mercy to us in ways we will never forget.
Just saw Ben Stein's new documentary/movie today, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed"... It's about the suppression of free speech in science. You should definitely see it!

Psalm 5:3
I'll Be Seeing You...
I'll be seeing you;
In all the old, familiar places;
That this heart of mine embraces;
All day through.
In that small cafe; The park across the way; The childrens carousel; The chestnut tree;
The wishing well.
I'll be seeing you; In every lovely, summers day;
And everything thats bright and gay;
I'll always think of you that way; I'll find you in the morning sun; And when the night is new;
I'll be looking at the moon;
But I'll be seeing you.

Dream A Little Dream of Me...
Stars shining bright above you;
Night breezes seem to whisper I love you
Birds singing in the sycamore tree.
Dream a little dream of me.
Say nighty-night and kiss me;
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me. While I'm alone, blue as can be,
Dream a little dream of me.
Stars fading but I linger on, dear---
Still craving your kiss. I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear,
Just saying this...
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you--- Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you.
But in your dreams, whatever they be,
Dream a little dream of me.
Stars fading but I linger on, dear---
Still craving your kiss.
I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear,
Just saying this...
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you---
Sweet dreams that leave all worries far behind you.
But in your dreams, whatever they be,
Dream a little dream of me.
