That’s what I read last year. All 147 books. Now some hopefully accurate trivia:
My most read author (and one of my most liked) last year was G. A. Henty with 20 books out of my 147. That’s roughly 14%.
Next was James Herriot with 8 books. That surprised me, because I don’t really even like his vet stories. I just read his whole series in the spring when I was bored.
3rd place was tied for 7 books between Deborah Alcock, who is my favourite author, Marjorie Bowen, whom I also really like, and Jane Austen.
We’ll see how I do next year! Grace has another 50 book challenge this year or I could join 52 books in 52 weeks. The thing will be more about recording books than acutally trying to read a lot, because I’m a bookworm anyways. I’ll be busier with schoolwork and such this year but I should be able to get 11 books.
Soon I’ll probably post about a Jane Austen challenge I’m considering doing and also the books of old reading challenge from the Ladies Library. (The button is on my sidebar.)
Blessings,
Elisabeth
