This is a photo I am entering in, “This is ME speaking…” and the theme is flowers (the lavender is resting on our home made goats milk soap!)

I thought I would just post a yummy recipe today! Pumpkin scones are so delicious!
Pumpkin Scones
40 grams of butter
1/4 of a cup of brown sugar
1 lightly beaten egg
3/4 of a cup of cooked mashed pumpkin
2 1/2 cups of self-raising flour
1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1/3 of a cup of milk {approximately}
Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in egg and stir in pumpkin and flour and enough milk to make a soft, sticky dough. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and lightly knead until smooth. Press dough out to about 2 cm in thickness and cut rounds/flower/etc out. Place scones just touching on a lined/greased baking tray and brush tops with a little milk. Bake in a very hot oven for about 15 minutes.
{You can just melt the butter and the sugar and mix the rest of the ingredient in, which is what I usually do. : )} Enjoy!

P.S. Remember a quick scone is a good scone!
P.P.S. I’m sorry if I don’t comment on anybody’s blog for a while. I have to cut down on my computer time…….and following 80 blogs is a lot!! : )
