2.) Please blog about this contest.

Hi
This was a really great post. I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much that I included it in The Homesteading Carnival #27: Newness Edition.
Please come by and see.
Thank you,
As Always,
Amanda

Wow! Your afghans are beautiful! I had no idea you made these! I like to crochet, too, but I haven't in years. Plus, I seem to only really remember a couple kinds of stitches.
I'll have to get back to this after I consider who/why I'd love to see win one of your beautiful creations.
Blessings, friend,
Christi

Can I nominate myself? LOL! I would LOVE one of your beautiful, prayed-over afghans for my new baby boy (due in March) and had planned on ordering one, but it is definitely not in the budget right now.
Blessings ~ Diane

I wanted to let you know I posted about your contest here http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/Victorious/440525/ but I didn't nominate anybody. I can't really think of anybody off the top of my head and I did not feel it was appropriate to nominate myself! I'm sure I'll think of someone in a day or two and then I will amend my post to include them.
Hope you are having a great day!
Blessings ~ Diane

Cute site! I have to say, though, I know who the cutest baby on the site is! = ) Just to let you know, I have been using your afghan to cover up the car seat here, since it is like 2 degrees outside, and I have had soooo many people tell me, "That is so beautiful! Where did you get that?" and then I tell them about a very generous woman who made it for Chloe. I get comments on it all the time. It really is gorgeous. I will be thinking about who to nominate for your contest, and will be getting back to you about that soon.....

I can think of 7 children... wait, Amanda has one... 6 children who are not only deserving of one, but keep asking me to get them one like Lucy's.... ;)
Other than that, I have a friend whose husband is a pastor; she homeschools; they have 5 children, ages 10 or 11 and under, the last precious little girl born in August. My friend's name is Misty, and she does not have a blog.
She is a dear friend who I do not get to see much, but one I know I could count on all the same. She's a sweet Christian Mommy who gives, gives, gives. I would love to see her get one of these beautiful afghans!
thanks! I will blog this on a bunch of blogs!
blessings!

Hi there. I am here to nominate someone for this giveaway. I would like to nominate Ariel aka www.homeschoolblogger.com/inkblotter.
She is my dearest friend and through this I would like to say how much I love her and really miss her. I know she has been though a lot of good and bad days but she is so strong in the Lord she never gives up. Recently, her beloved dog died and I really know how heartbroken she is. I really want to comfort her but since I can't be there, this will have to do!
Thanks for this giveaway!!!
Love, Miss Elizabeth

I gave it some thought. And right now the person that I would like to nominate is from Momys, MyLittleLammies. She is such a blessing to me and has such a gentle, loving spirit. I think she deserves a special blessing.

I give up, my daughter said she would put my name in, but that would be unfair. So here is my link http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/momofmhasr/469171/ I really love to snuggle with a cozy blanket and read a book with a cup of tea. Hope this works! ;) Have a great day.

I just tried leaving MamaBugs a comment, and then realized I was looking at her friends' blogs...
Anyway, I deleted the comment that inadvertently got left here, but I don't know if that leaves some "freaky" or "linky" error message. So, just thought I'd let you know ... if there was a problem, it was probably caused by li'l ol' me! ;)

I love your work. I'm posting on my blog about this contest. I would love for my eldest daughter to win. She's serving in the Air Force right now. She says it's hard to switch back to dressing feminine when she gets off duty and can be out of uniform. A pretty shawl sure would help. My post is at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/thecoolmom/469442/

I'd like to nominate my friend, Vicki. She is a sweet mommy
to one little girl and her husband is deployed for the second time to the war. The more I get to know her, the more I'm so happy God put us at the same duty station. She's more than 10 years younger than I, but has taught me a thing or two! I know she'd love to have something homemade and so pretty and feel "wrapped in prayer" by a special afghan. Thanks for considering Vicki!

I would like to nominate my Moma. She had 2 strokes a year ago the 27th of Janary. She goes to the wound center every week and her legs get cold in the wheelchair. I have quit work to care for her. This would be such a blessing if she won. God Bless.

I think my mom would love this afgan. I'd love to see mom get this. She has been through a lot this last year. Breast cancer surgery, and diagonsed with parkinsons. My mom is so sweet. She teaches a older ladies SS class at her church. They call the class whisper and stitch class. So cute.

I would love to win this one of a kind afghan because my little sister just had a baby on the 25th. She had a gorgeous little boy named Christian Lee. I know if my mom was still alive she would make one, but she died March of last year. So if I win, this is who will receive the afghan!!!
Thanks for offering such a generous give away!!
God's Blessings,
Amy Jo

I blogged about your give-away at my blog here: http://akhmmm.wordpress.com/2008/01/30/an-unselfish-give-a-way/
There are a couple of people that I can think of who are deserving of a prayed over afghan and I'm struggling as to who to nominate. While both are very deserving I think that I'll nominate Sandra at http://littlesprouts.wordpress.com/
If you need any other information please let me know. My blog is: http://akhmmm.wordpress.com

....my dear friend Crystal.
She blogs here at HSB~ http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/crysnrod
Last year she gave birth to a teeny, tiny preemie baby boy and for a long time it was very touch-and-go. We all prayed for dear little Ezra and he has been such a miracle baby and such a blessing to everyone who knows him.
Ezra will celebrate his first birthday this weekend! I'm sure that he and his precious mommy would love a Bundled in Prayer Afghan, as I know they've been bundled in prayer (literally) this past year.
