Fall Into Reading!

I joining in the challange of reading my booklist.  I have started several books this past summer and yet to finish any of them.  Join Callapidder Days and add the books you hope to finish this fall!

 

My List

1.  More then Enough- Dave Ramsey

2.  For the Childrens Sake- Susan Schaeffer Macauloy (I’m almost done with this one)

3. The Mom Walk- Sally Clarkson

4.  A Matter of Character: Inside the White House of George W. Bush- Ronald Kessler

 

 

Read aloud time with 3rd grader

1. Sign of the Beaver- Elizabeth Speare  (almost done)

2.  The horse and his boy-CS Lewis (book on CD)  a little cheating

3.  Farmer Boy- Laura Ingalls

4.  On the Banks of Plum Creek- Laura Ingalls

 

Read Alouds with Preschooler and 5yr old (MFW K books)

1. Goodnight Moon- Margaret Wise Brown

2. Moon Game- Frank Asch

3. A Tree is Nice- Janice May Udry

4.  The Story of Johnny Appleseed- Aliki

5.  Grasshopper on the Road- Arnold Lobel

 

I’m like a lot of you, I LOVE LOVE FAll!  It is a great time to curl up with a great book, we love to read in this house, so hopefully we will get it all done but if not we will at least get started with these great books! This goes until December 21st so we have some time!

    My ds1 loved The Horse And His Boy. I'll have to check out the Dave Ramsey book you mentioned.

    For the Childrens Sake- Susan Schaeffer Macauloy is the book that was THE book to start me on my hs journey ! It is a GREAT book. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE ….Mom Walk too.

    I like that some of the moms ae including their children in this. I would like to include reading with Husband in mine…but I haven't got him much into that yet. :-)
