I read about this book quite awhile ago in the Old Schoolhouse Magazine.  I love it.  I have always wanted to garden but never had the confidence at all in doing so.  I so admire all of your blogs out there that show off your gardens.  This book really talks to the one who has never been brave enough to try it.  You make your square foot boxes and you can plant anything.  Flowers, fruit, vegetables, herbs-anything at all.  I really like the way the author explains everything step by step.  Another fun thing is your whole family can have their own boxes, so I could have a child that wants to do flowers in their box and I may plant tomatoes in mine, it sounds like a lot of fun.  This is a major goal I have to start a square foot garden next spring.   I also dream of having a herb garden someday!  This author also has a curriculum out there on gardening and you can count it as a class, I would love to look into that!  His website is http://www.squarefootgardening.com/
