rugs :-)

Oh, I just found this really neat site that teaches you how to make rugs. You know, those really cool rugs that you see in old homes… they are braided and made out of rags, round our oblong. I would LOVE to have rugs like that. Of course I would love to have hard floors and time to make rugs too, but for now, I will just bask in my imagination Anyway, here is a link to a video that shows the VERY easy steps to making a braided rag rug.

This one is not a braided rug like the ones you see in older homes,  but it is really nice looking! It looks like it would be really soft and fluffy. You know… the kind that you would want to curl up on and take a nap? It really does look WONDERFUL

Or… if you are more of crochet kind of crafter, here is a link that would go well for you. Still a braided rug look, but using a crochet hook

I love quiet crafts… I love taking them into the doctors office or church or sitting in front of the tv with it, or listening to my husband or children read stories while I can keep my hands busy. I love how you can stay focused much longer because you have something to DO that does not require you to be distracted… I hope you love them too
