You cannot tell me she isn't the prettiest baby around! :)
Lately, I have had NO time to blog, as you can probably already tell. I know I said I would post about my 17th birthday but I don';t really want to :) Nothing special happened there just gained another year in life. I have been working on the past two months of Conservation 101. I missed May and June. I have August saved and am working on it. Just not diligently ;)
Alot has been going on lately. I decide I am going to vent in this post. Lately, I have become the target of one girls hatred (a girl at my work). She decided that because of something that happened in the past she is going to hate me because of it. Might I add the fact that I did absolutely nothing wrong except defend a close friend. I was accused of saying something mean to the girl and I was called names which shall not be repeated on the blog-o-sphere. Why do people have to be so utterly ridiculous? I don't understand people sometimes. Anyway today she decided to "attack" me the best way that she possibly could. She was rude and arogant towards me. She almost refused to work with me today at work. My boss assigned me to a project that SHE wanted and so she decided to make a big stink about it and go complain to my boss that she didn't think it was fair that she was told she was going to do it and now I was. Immature!!!!! I really didn't care whether or not. I didn't even want to be at work but I was asked to come in to replace someone who called out. Anyway, LO and Behold she got her wish, to do the stupid project and make me do the "low-on-the-totem-pole" job. Oh and she decided to rub it in my face that she got what she wanted by telling me herself. I swear she was talking down to me. I smiled and said ok thats fine, and walked off. I really did not want to participate in her childish "nana nana boo boo" game. For the rest of the day I stayed my distance, yet whenever she was around I killed her with kindness.
College starts back up on Monday, with my first class being my American Sign Language class. I am very excited to be starting that class. I used to know alot of sign language, now I only know my ABC's in sign language ;) Also Tuesdays and Thursday I am at school all day for my English 102 class, and my Pre-Algebra class. Wednesday afternoon I have my US History class, another one I am excited about. I have always loved history :) Then IMMEDIATELY following my History class is my second American Sign Language class of the week. I think I have everything I need for school. I hope I do :)
Anyway, It's late and I am extremely tired from working an almost 30 hour week and it's only Thursday :( NIghty NIght all.
Love
Julia
OH I forgot to mention, My laptop is not working and I cannot get at my email so please leave comments or send me a PM until I get my email back working :)

Snorkel! See I can do it too!
EDIT EDIT: Typing in the dark=bad spelling
You ever have those days where you just wander around aimlessly looking for something to do? Or when your standing around in the middle of your living room asking yourself "whats next?". Well, I am NOT having one of those days, or weeks rather... Make it month instead.. School has ended and summer has begun, with the birds laying their eggs and bunny's are hopping around... *record scratch* NEVERMIND! *chaos erupts*
Like I said school has ended and I thought I would have time to compose a very informative post, but alas my time is dwindling fast so let me recap the past two weeks for your enjoyment. It must be enjoyable to watch someone elses life go cuckoo bannana's!!!!!!!
First off I am late in making mention that my dear, darling "sis" (although no quotations are needed right Joci? ;) ) Jocelyn created a wonderful post on how LOTR's is not "good" once you delve into the scenario's and the actual idea behind it. You can read her post here of course: "A former Witch looks at the Lord of The Rings" In her post Joci makes note that she will most likely be getting rid of her LOTR collection. I know she has made the right choice and I am proud to say she is my dear dear friend. :)
I have recently been to the library and ordered a bunch of books to read and I have already started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND FINISHED SOME!!!!!!! *gasp* I got two auto biography's about Bear Gryll's from the TV show Man vs. Wild. and I got one on Dog the Bounty Hunter, from his self titled TV show. I also got some fiction books such as Tracie Peterson's, A Lady of HIgh Regard, and her book "duet" with Judith Miller called, A Daughters Inheritance. Also, The Parting, By Beverly Lewis .
EDIT ONE AND A HALF WEEKS LATER:
Isn't it funny how I started a post saying I have been busy and unable to post and I couldn't even finish the exact post because I had to go?????? Coincidence? I think not ;)
Since this post began alot has happened. Some very interesting days have gone by, oh and the 'coupe de grace' is............ GAS PRICES ARE ABOVE $4. Shocking huh? Not surprising though, and I don't have a car to worry about gas ;) Sorry to be so blunt, Ma!
A couple weeks ago I was working an 8 hour shift when one of our employess called to say a giant-two-decker-car-hauler had lost it's brakes coming down the infamous I-40 from Las Vegas and had ran the intersection of our Bullhead/Laughlin bridge (connecting Nevada and Arizona togther (The only bridge in the whole city)) and had plunged into the river in which all the BRAND NEW CARS on the top deck of the hauler decided to take a dip. At that point I had two hours left of work and I was in a panic because when stuff like this happens (which happens often I might add) the authority's shut down the bridge for like a whole day or more. So now I was stuck on the other side of the river, at the mall, with only the casino's around. Fortunately another co-worker was getting off work the same time I was and she was stuck on that side of the river as well. Our genius plan was to walk half a mile down to the Riverside casino and take the "water taxi' across to the other side of the river and into the parking lot near the Highway. So we did. I shall add that is was about 105 degrees outside ;) So I took, for the very first time, the water taxi across the river and then had to walk what seemed to be another half a mile to where my step dad picked me. That was the talk of the whole town, and still is. Unfortunately since 9/11 semi trucks are not allowed to pass over the Hoover Dam (upside of Las Vegas) so they have to come and loop around through Bullhead and up to Kingman, but Bullhead is situated in a valley and so all the roads are mountainous, and therefore trucks speeding down the mountain road loose their brakes and end up causing a whole bunch of wrecks. About 5 days before this truck "took a drink" in the river another diesel carrying truck lost it's brake and ran through both intersections at the bridge and ended up flipping and spilling 4,500 gallons of disel everywhere. It was funny to see haz-mat teams cleaning it up. ;)
I think I will stop this post here because I am currently watching National treasure 2: Book of Secrets with my friend Mackenzie. I have been asked by Amy, been reminded by Alison, and told I haven't posted in a while by Mrs. Johnson, soooooooo to my dear friends there is my post!!!!! ;)
Hope you enjoyed it!

My step dad and I were able to attend a "Sponsor's Rodeo Dinner"- his company AMTI is a sponsor of the GCPRA Rodeo of Needles,California- on March 5th! It was so much fun!! We met with several other sponsors, and I was able to finally wear my cowgirl boots!! That was the most exciting part! :) Hahahahaha Anyways, My step dad, Mike, took pictures and so did I so here are pictures of the dinner. (There are only a few!)
The last one is of the Rodeo Queen talking to a little girl. and she adored the Queen :)

Two of the Bulls escaped and were right in front of us. This one stood right in front of me.

ADD:
Rosetta Stone has been the #1 foreign language curriculum among homeschoolers for a while -- next week they are unleashing a brand new curriculum, and you can WIN the *all new* Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3… FOR FREE!
This is a $219 program (and believe me it's worth every penny!) and the winner gets to pick from any of these 14 languages: Spanish (Spain or Latin America), English (American or British), Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Irish, Hebrew, or Russian.
This will also include a headset with microphone, and students will participate in lifelike conversations and actually produce language to advance through the program. Rosetta Stone still incorporates listening, reading and writing as well, in addition to speaking. Many homeschoolers requested grammar and vocabulary exercises, and with Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3, they're included! For parents, the new Parent Administrative Tools are integrated into the program and allow parents to easily enroll students in any of 12 predetermined lesson plans, monitor student progress, and view and print reports.
To win this most excellent program -- in the language of your choice -- copy these (blue) paragraphs and post it in (or as) your next blog post -- then to enter the contest, go to the original contest page HERE: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/JenIG/501132/ and leave a comment with the link showing where you blogged about it. And please make sure the link works to get back to the original contest page when you post it. And good luck! The winner will be picked randomly on March 26, and will be notified thru the link they left to their blog pg. And if you have more than one blog, you can post them and enter those separately for more chances to win. Yay for free stuff!

A Post of Many Colors
Health Prayers and updates-
First off, Please Pray for my dear friend Jocelyn's youngest brother. Caleb is two years old and is very sick. He had to be taken to the emergency room two days ago. Pray God will heal his little body!!!! More information at Jocelyn's, Amanda's, and Mrs. Dixon's blog.
Second, My grandmother had her cancer surgery. They had to take one whole side of her chest muscles. She is feeling really well, getting tired at some points but otherwise is still up and moving around doing stuff she is not suppose to do while healing ;) Love you grandma! Mom and Brandon flew up to Seattle yesterday to help around my Grandmother's house. Brandon enjoyed his VERY FIRST airplane ride. Mom said he did very well on the plane and when he got off he turned to mom and said 'Thank you for taking me on the plane Mommy'
Some important stuff-
I never did get to take a full week of pictures for Brooke's 'Feelin Feminine Challenge'. So Sorry Brooke my dear! I did take two pictures yesterday to make up for the days I didn't So here they are.

I basically just took a simple outfit and made it feminine by added giant pearl bracelets and a white puka necklace. I contrasted the green with tan and both with brown shoes. haha honestly this is my fave outfit I wear it all the time. :)
I actually can't post the other picture until tomorrow. Its on the other computer so... Stay Tuned..
Anyway, Brooke, Jocelyn, and Amanda, are continuing the challenge to a 'One week outta the month' type thing. The end week of each month will be that "Challenge Week". Like I have said over and over I wear skirts all the time so it's not hard for me but I will post a random picture of one of my outfits in that end week.

Life Update
Updates, updates, everyone loves updates!!!!!!!!! Not much has been going on . Simply going to college and work. Thats about it. :) Ok done with this post!
hahahah I'm kidding.... (Obviously)
School-
Lately in math I have come to realize that the world isn't as fluffy as some people think it is. I never thought it was fluffy, just I never realized how bad it was. My math class is full of a bunch of druggies. Literally. The first day a 20-some odd guy walks in and asks if anyone has any pot. I turned to him and rolled my eyes. He had no shame that he smoked pot. Everyone laughed at him and joked around with him. He was like 'dude. I haven't smoked that *insert cuss word* in two weeks. I need some' He kept looking at me like I had some, I just rolled my eyes. I wanted to say 'Yeah the campus cop has some, you can go bum some off of him' But I bit my tongue. Not my place to tell him how he should live his life. If he want's to smoke pot and die of cancer or something that's his choice. BTW, He now comes into class stoned out of his mind. And he stinks of pot.
My english class is pretty hard. I knew it was going to be. In fact, I just finished a paper on being stung by Jellyfish (which I will post if gets a good grade ;D). I have to write a compare and contrast essay next week. I don't know what I'm going to write it on. I was thinking about writing about conservation. I think I am fairly good at writing about conservation ;D
Prayer-
My Grandmother has cancer. For the third time. Back in 1980 My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to go in and have surgery to remove the problem. Shortly after that she had cancer again. This time it was hidden and was very agressive. So happens the docs were removing tumors in my grandmother when they find this agressive cancer AFTER they removed the tumors (which had nothing to do with the cancer). Turns out if they had waited a few weeks to remove the turmos the cancer probably would have spread so fast. So almost 30 years later she has been told she has Breast cancer again, on the other side. She is removing the whole problem on the 26th of February. My mum is going up to WA to help. Unfortunately, I have to stay down here and do my compare and contrast essay :D
Life in general-
Right now i am watching Crocodile Hunter and listening to Fur Elise by Beethoven. Oh yes if you have noticed I added a playlist. I choose only appropriate songs. No rock or anything. I don't like rock as it is, but all the songs are 'christian' or just piano, such as the beethoven and Mozart. Also Tchaikovsky.
Anyway's like I said, I am watching Crocodile Hunter. I love watching the show over and over to learn more and more about wildlife. I am always amazed at how Steve was able to just *currently what he is doing on this episode* lasso a Tiger Shark and hold onto it like it was a dog. It's amazing. Here is a video that I have stored. Booklover sent me a video the other day of a man coming accross a 14+ ft Cobra. Well basically this video is for Booklover because she sent me the other one :)
Also lately I have been hit big time with a urge to save Tigers. I just don't want to be around when there are no tigers left in the wild. How horrible that would be. I am so burden to just travel to India or Thailand to study them and help protect them. My room is filled with tigers. I have a stuffed tiger behind me on my bed. Pictures everywhere. My room is filled with wildlife monuments or knick knacks. I plan on eventually taking pictures of my room to show you what I mean.. I think your room can really define you as a person. I mean why have this is your room if you don't like it? Ya know?
OH I am just babbling now. I better go have dinner before church. But before I go I would like to show you a video that I made myself. Of course it's about conservation of Tigers since I am in a Tiger phase ;D I'm sorry if it takes forever to load. I just made it and it's kind short for a video lol...
