I am so sorry that I didn't get back to all of you for such a long time! I have lots of new activities planned and I just forgot. For those of you out there who like gardening, I am doing a Jr. Master Gardening class. I learn a lot of new things there and I have my own plot where I planted a bunch of things. I LOVE to garden! One of the ladies there says that she LOVES to weed!!! Isn't that kind of surprising. (I don't like to weed a weedy garden at all.) I met a few freinds there and I really enjoy it. Also, pretty soon I will be doing a horse camp. I am doing a whole bunch of new things this year. For a week I am doing V.B.S. (which stands for vacation bible school) I am at home right now and my family had adult company and there is a guy that is here and he was acting VERY FUNNY!!! LOL!!! I am very bored right now... So since I had a few extra hours that I could do my blog... Well, I have to get off now because my sister wants to play on webkinz with me!! BYE!!!!

Hi everyone!!  I hope you didn't think that something was wrong since I didn't blog in a while.  We are studying world geography right now and my little brother (ian age 6) He knows every continent and some of the cities in them. Today we are going to make a paper mache earth out of a balloon. Some of the books that I am reading include lemony snicket book twelve (the penultamite peril) and The Secret at Phesant Cottage, (which is writen by Patricia St. John) and not too long ago I finished The Phantom Tolbooth... It is one of the best books that I have ever read and is VERY funny!! I think that is all the books that I remember right now.

   My math corriculum is math-U-see and I am in the book Gamma. My big sister is in it too and so is my younger brother. My sister is is Epsilon and my brother is in Alpha. The person who writes the books his name is Mr. Steve Demme. This really helps me because as he explains is that in this math you can actually SEE math! I am learning multiplacation right now. I think that it is preatty easy.

 For language arts I do charactar quality language arts which covers spelling, grammer and a little copy work. This is written by Mrs. Reish. This is also helpful. It does not take long to do one day of this and it is fun too.

 And lastly, for writing I have to write about things from Egypt. So far I have written on pyramids, the Sphinx and mummies. I do not know who wrote this but it is easy too. Now on Monday I am going to put all three of these together to make three paragraphs about Egypt. It is going to be fun!!

            For bible my mom reads little ones for Christ and boys and girls playing. We do this at the beginning of our day.

For literature i read The Secret At Phesant Cottage which is very interesting.

And last, for spanish i do Rossetta Stone which is helpful.

                                                   I am studying the human body. Then I will be starting botony...In case someone out there dosn't know what botony i will tell you. I is the study of flowers. I don't know about you but i think that botony is interesting and can't wait to study it. I am almost finished with the human body... After next week i will be starting botony. My sister and I were laughing at pelvis (ha ha elvis get it?) and the golgi body. She thought the golgi body was the most hillarious. In case you didn't know, the pelvis is the hip bone and the golgi body is part of a cell. We are going to be having a unit celebraton on Ancient Rome! It is going to be fun!! I am in charge of food, clothes and art. My sister is in charge of the timeline and the history part of Rome. (Believe me, that looks REALLY hard!) It is actually going to be on her birthday. She is going to have a party AND a unit celebration. She decided it will be a Roman Camp!!! It is going to be fun once we are all finished with the work and we can see it all done. Ancient Rome has been fun studying. (Even if we have to read a three hundred and forty five paged book!) After Rome I think we are going to study the midevil times. It will be awsome!! (midevil is kings queens princes ect.) For THAT unit celebration Me and my sisters are going to be princesses and my brothers princes and my mom and dad the king and queen.. We will have super costumes too!!!

Hi everyone! Thanks to all of you that posted comments. So far all the "blog freinds" I have are Jan and rebecca (thanks guys!) okay, so back to what I was going to talk about. Well... there is some things that I would like to tell all of you that I didn't on my first blog. Well I am the second of six in our family. (Three boys and three girls..Including me. And guess what?? the last boy of our family is...... A BABY!!! He is very cute. His name is matthew. My other siblings are rachel(3) Katie (11) Alex (2) and Ian (6) the baby was born in january and loves to smile and is holding his head up.  As I said I LOVE horses and art! My favorite horse is a thourobred. And I love art partially because you get to see things with diffrent eyes. I like writing cartoons too, but mostly I just draw realistic things like people. I also like knitting and crocheting. I am going to start my swimming class soon (maybie) and I used to take art that I really enjoyed. I took several art classes, all of which were very helpful to me. I love drawing faces, but I always find something that can improve in my drawing. No one is perfect at art. My favorite painter is De Gas and I enjoy his paintings of ballet dancers and they look real. I might study him sometime. I like all art and I hope (for all of you who don't like art) I inspired you to try and draw a picture and practice! practice! practice! And I hope I can change you so that you will like art as much as I do! ( which as you know is a lot!) My mother also likes art and is very good at it. Well, I'll post another one soon!

This is my first blog so I'm not perfect at this.  I was inspired by seeing another homeschooler's blog, and excited to create my own. 

First, a little about myself.  I LOVE horses and art!  My favorite subjects are language arts and history.  I've been reading a book called Augustus Caesar's World and it is really interesting reading about the lives of people who lived a long time ago.  I am also reading Strawberry Girl and A Little Princess, and enjoying them, too.  I like to spend my free time either reading or drawing cartoons (or horses).

I look forward to doing more writing here on my blog, and sharing some of what I'm learning in school.
