From what I read, millipedes can secrete (ooze out) a stinky juice out of its body, but they don't bite or sting. They normally eat rotting plants.
Now centipedes are the ones that can bite and release a poison into their victims. Centipedes usually eat other bugs. They do sometimes bite humans but it's not supposed to be any worse than a bee sting.
My 8 year old, Gracie, is the one that caught that millipede!
