Last night Youth Group was on and the theme was Survivor. It was like the game show 'Survivor' but .... youth group style, lol. Lachlan, Alex and Chook were the one's who planned this (who put them in charge I'll never know) but it was good fun. First we were split into three teams of six or seven. I think my team had six .... anyhow we then had to choose a name for our groups (hehe!!) Team #1 was 'The Fiaries' Team #2 was 'The Bar Boys' (Alexander was in that team so we now know the reason for the name, lol) Team #3 - my team - was the 'Butt Whooping Cobras.' Us girls in Team #3 had nothing to do with making that name up so we just called ourselves the Cobras. After that one team would choose a number from the screen and that would be our task to complete. The first one my team chose but we couldn't do it because the boys hadn't brought the equipment needed so another team chose. It was 'Word Trivia.' Lachlan would say a word and then give us some meanings you might think the word means. My team won that task. YaY the 'Cobras!!' Then another team chose a different number and it was 'What's Cooking in the Bush.' As soon as the words were out I knew it was going to be something so revolting to eat. And it pretty much was. Everyone in your team would have to pick a number from one to seven and stay that number. It was out of me and MarryAnne to chose the last two numbers. I was five and she was six (I so should have chosen six, lol.) People who chose number one would then come up to the table and Alex would bring out a dish of something really bad, hehe and I mean really bad. There was like Spicy Beef Jerky, Sardines in Tomato Sauce, Brocolli, Tuna in some bad dressing and then .... my turn. I had to eat a quarter of an onion. I didn't want to; it smelt not pleasant and I was already crying just holding it, not really but it was bad. In the end Lachlan said to just take a bite; so I did and ended up spitting it out anyway, lol. Then there was a memory game. One team at a time would have to memorise where the matching pairs were and Alex would turn the cases over and then that team would have to choose where they thought they saw the pairs. My team was second to go but before that we made a plan, well Ben actualy. Anyway he told us to pair up and memorise one line so that we could tell each other where to find the matching pair. I thought it worked well because we won!! Haha!! Then Dale did a talk on how everyone of us is like a puzzle peice; not one is the same. Everyone is unique in their own way. I thought the talk was really good. Then we went home. Huh, gotta love Youth Group, lol!! Erin |

Sorry for not keeping up again. I'm just not going on the computer alot anymore. Which is great and not so great at the same time. I've been working alot in the video store this week and will be working hard next week too. We had a new girl start on Wednesday. She worked there before over Christmas when it was really busy but she was only twelve then!! So Leanne, the boss, will be giving her another go which is nice because Leanne was impressed with her skills; and so now that she's older she can be hired properly .... did that make any sense to anyone? No, I didn't think so, lol. I am in more pain today. My back began hurting again yesterday which is not so good. Remember last time I had to go to hospital? Let's just hope it doesn't come to that again. There's not much more that has been going on lately so all have a good weekend!! Erin |

Last night was so fun!! Youth Group was on and this time we were going to Casino. Our Youth Group is pretty big but last night hardly anyone showed up so there was like only ten of us. Anyway we took two cars (we could've fit in one car if someone went home but then that wouldn't be any fun, lol,) so we just went ahead and took two cars. Mel and I were the only one's who went in Holly's car which was fun. When we arrived we all paid for a BBQ dinner (even though none of us ate, in the end Dale went and got us our money back) and just stood around. We didn't know anyone so we all just stood and talked to each other about how our holidays were and things like that. We were all told to sit in the church shortly after. It was a really big church too. All of us sat together up the back (I know we're not very social, lol. Well it wasn't the very back so yeah ....) We played a game after the opening prayer called 'Musical Corners.' There were four corners in the church (of course) and each one had a heading; 'Yes,' 'No,' 'Eh, (like you don't mind it,) and 'Just Don't Know.' Then someone would play a song and if you liked that song you would move over to the 'Yes' corner if you didn't like it, to the 'No' corner and if you don't mind it to the 'Eh' corner and if you didn't know the song then to the 'Just Don't Know' corner. Then the different groups of people at different corners would have to answer some questions. It was pretty fun actually. Then we listened to a guest speaker and sang some songs and as soon as it was over the 'Evans Crew' is what call ourselves, went to McDonalds. It was only about ten minutes before everyone else from the church came to McDonalds for some late dinner. The line at the counter was really long, so I'm glad we got there early, lol. Anyway we came home after that and I went straight to bed. It was after ten o'clock I think. Oh well, today's Saturday and I don't have to work so I"m going to go hang around. Have a good weekend!! Okay, we went back to school yesterday but this week is turning out to be fine. Usually when I start school up again I'm finding it hard to get back into the daily routine but I've found it okay so far. I finished all my schoolwork before noon yesterday which is a big accomplishment for me, lol. I'm always messing around and doing other things instead of work. So tomorrow I go to the doctor's office (I think) and hopefully find out what is wrong with me. I haven't had any pain at all since hospital, no wait it came back for only a few minutes Saturday night but it wasn't intense like last time thank God. I am once again going to work soon. It's always fun when new movies or packages come in, it's like Christmas. We get to open them and put them out on the shelves, it's just really fun. Except we've had alot of people complaining about THEIR late fews (when they don't return a movie by 6pm the day they are expected back.) And it just gets really annoying! Anyway you feel like telling them, "Well, this wouldn't happen if you return it on time!" But I don't, lol!! It has gotten really cold here. We are still in Autumn .... gee I can't wait for Winter. ; ) No, I'm looking forward to lighting the fire and sitting round it. Oh! And I can't wait to have our bonfire. It's not as big as last years but we always light it when my Uncle comes down from QLD (Queensland) to see us. It's lots of fun. All have a good day!! Erin |

Well, it's the last day of school holidays today. Mum has gone shopping today, for she didn't get to on Friday (Anzac Day,) and dad has gone to work. Mel is still in bed and it's pretty much almost 9:30!! My little brother and sister are loudly playing in the living room and I am posting an entry because I have decided to post more regularly, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Those are the days that seemed to fit my schedule, lol. There's not much more that has happened really .... so I'm going to do something random, a Tag. Anyway here are the rules; when you spell your name correct you get ten points. At the end count up your points and see how talented you are, lol. 1. Type your name with your fingers: ERIN 2. Type your name with your elbow: ERIKN 3. Type your name with your nose: 3E4R59IN 4. Type your name with your heel: ER5IJN 5. Type your name with your toes: ERIN 6. Type your name with your chin: ERIN Well, that's the best I could do. A whole 30 points for me!! Huh, I guess I just have a big nose, lol. Okay so I'm going to Tag, dixiefiddler, dixiebeauty, learnmylingo and Mel. Have fun!! Erin |

Hey guys. I'm so so soooo sorry for not posting any new entries lately and I'm so sorry for not getting back to you all. I've been really busy at work and just haven't been on the computer at all. So please don't stop commenting or talking to me. I worked a long, hard, six and a half hour shift Tuesday morning. It was so tiring and near the end of my shift I got a really bad pain in my lower back. When I got home it was so bad I could hardly move, I ended up in hospital that night. I was driven by ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital. Karrie, was the name of the lady (I think) who took care of me on the way there. She was really nice and just talked to me trying to calm me down. It was my first time in an ambulance and it was pretty scary. She gave me medicine to calm the pain so I was more comfortable. When we were there I had to be moved from the stretcher to a hospital bed, I didn't feel much like moving though. I was in hospital until two o'clock Wednesday morning. The doctor said I was able to go because we'd be more comfortable at home. By that time mum and I were ready to go. I had to talk alot to keep mum awake, she was driving of course .... Oh and the pain was gone by then too (the medicine was pretty strong.) Then at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon I had to go to a private hospital for an ultra-sound (or how ever you spell it.) Now we are waiting for the results to come back and see what is wrong with me. I hope nothing bad. So please if you could pray for me that would be great. Well, have a good weekend!! Erin |

Hey guys! I've been so busy with work down at the video store; cleaning shelves, vaccuming, serving customers and sorting DVDs. Well at least I have money to spend, yay!! And I won't have to pay mum back for lending money to me. It's not just about the money though, I've made friends with some of the customers which is what I've been looking for so it's all good. One afternoon I went down the rock-wall and walked along the beach, which I hadn't done in ages and thought; summer has come and gone, and now it's autumn and then soon winter and then spring bringing along with it my birthday ... sorry I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway I'd better go and do stuff I need catching up on, so talk to you all later. Have a good week!! Erin |

How is everyone? I'm good, it's starting to get cold down here so I my have to pull out the jackets soon. Nothing much has happened this week except schoolwork and work down at the video store (I have a job now, yay me!!!!) I also went grocery shopping today with my mum and younger sister. First off we went and had morning tea and COFFEE!!!! Then we browsed through the book store and made our way over to Aldi's the grocery store we shop at bought all our regular grocerys. Then we went to Big W, a store like Wall-Mart, and looked at some clothes and books. Then we had to shop for gluten-free food for me at IGA and get other stuff we couldn't get at Aldi's. Now if there is anything more embarrassing than your little sister spinning around with the shopping cart and SINGING ALOUD an old 60's song, let me know. We came home not too long ago, put away the grocerys and now ... nothing. It was raining all night last night and there's still a threat of a storm, so I'm not going to take the risk of a walk. I might read more of my book, or draw, or snuggle on the couch with my big fluffy blanket and watch a movie. Well, whatever I do, at least Youth Group is on tonight, yay!!!! Hope you all have a good week. Erin |
